SEC - Sucking against "Easy" Competition
My Tigers helped create "A Day That Will Live In Infamy" for the P5. How many times will you experience 3 teams from the supposedly best football conference in the country getting embarrassed by teams from the "G5"? I love it.
Memphis throttles Auld Mess
Georgia State runs away from the Big Urange
Wyoming hangs on to defeat Missouri
Then, in another upset, NC beats South Carolina.
Can you say OVERRATED?

RE: SEC - Sucking against "Easy" Competition
As offenses open up throughout college football, the sec dominance declines. When most teams ran a pro style offense, the sec was in king. Spreading things out is evening out the playing field.

Yesterday will haunt that conference all year. They typically build a non conference schedule that ensures they have a stacked w/l going into conference play. Beating UT or Mizzou will mean nothing on a resume.

RE: SEC - Sucking against "Easy" Competition
It is fun to poke at SEC schools, especially when they lose a game like utk did, to a team that went 2-10 last year, that same team we beat by five touchdowns
In reality though, in our game, we were a lot better than Mississippi.
They will enter into their stages of grief, guaranteed, but ignoring that point
They will say Norvell wants to coach them
They were so much more talented
This was Memphis super bowl
We are terrible Memphis just less terrible
That roughing call changed everything
Blah blah
Nonsense
Big penalties evened out. The roughing call, which was actually correct, was matched by a PI and lack of PI called against their defense. We also had a kid ejected for targeting
It was the needling penalties that we had that stalled drive after drive. Those will be remedied as will making one more play on third down when near the red zone. Game should have been a Memphis 27 or 30-10 routine win
Heading forward that matters because competition will get tougher and we need to clean up those small mistakes
Looking backwards, Mississippi peaked for them in beating Alabama in 2014 and 2015. They beat us in 14 then we beat them in 2015. They held on against a new coach at Memphis the next year but for a half decade these programs have been heading opposite directions, and right now we are way ahead
Of course that could all pop as the tougher Southern squad coming to Memphis next week will probably be within 200 yards of us so we need to convert any advantage into more points

RE: SEC - Sucking against "Easy" Competition
There are 3 great teams (Bama, Georgia, Auburn). 3 good teams (TAM,LSU, Florida). 4 soso teams (MsState, S.Carolina, Mizzu, Kentucky) and 4 bad teams (OleMiss, Arkansas, Vandy and Tennessee).
It's great we beat Ole Miss ... But they are as bad as I've ever seen them. Same with Arkansas and Tennessee ... AWFUL !!! And Vandy is same ole Vandy (worse fans/stadium in college football).
And MsState better enjoy this season cause they're headed for the same space OleMiss is in !!
Egg bowl becomes Toilet bowl. News at Ten !!

Not the same team. Nor do we have the same team. That was last season.
Your lack of reasoning and poor math skills make me wonder how you actually have a job much less teach on a college level.
And posting of gifs of hot babes, and a baby which is weird, is the sign of a person who has never seen a grown woman naked before.

Right now that seems about right
Still just one game
TN will win some bigger games but not looking likely to stay with Alabama, Georgia and Florida, Auburn will lose etc...
I agree it may be a season struggle for Mississippi. We play them in three weeks and our kids score a lot more. Luke seems over his head. To their credit, they hung in there and made just enough plays combined with just enough small Memphis errors to have a chance late. Taylor’s elbow hitting the ground followed by the interception kept the game closer, otherwise they likely quit

RE: SEC - Sucking against "Easy" Competition
Maybe that means our last 16 non conference home games have been wins?
That would exclude the Iowa State Bowl game but may be correct
Duke beat us here in 2013? None since?

The Henderson less Liberty Bowl, never understood why Polard didn't get more carries in that game.
