I haven't been able to log into my ODAF account since the deadline last week to get ST. Just get a bunch of errors.

It's likely you need to delete your cache or adjust the crystal disgronificator on your motherboard, or wait until the website comes back up. Your choice.

Just speculation, and maybe this could be a nice opportunity for ODU to make a major announcement about donations to the ODAF. Could they make an announcement that we reached OUR GOAL of $40 million when we open the NEW Stadium on August 31, 2019.

As of June 17, 2019 it was posted we had raised $34,500,000.00. It has been a long time for us to wait for an update. It would be Fantastic if Old Dominion Athletic Foundation, which I must say has masterfully executed and strived to reached the original goal of $40 Million. Could they even announce they have surpassed that amount of $40,000,000 in support of ODU Athletics and our student-athletes. It would also be s great time to announce a NEW Fundraiser for the Building of Phase II.

Nice, personally, I hope it is a new gift. It would be amazing if it was an additional donation to the university or Athletic funding. It would be fantastic if it was a specific donation to the stadium that would escalate the building of Phase II.

I’m praying for a phase 2 announcement.

I seriously doubt we're looking at 10 years minimum. I also seriously doubt you'll be hearing anything about Phase 2 any time in the next few years.

From what I've heard from very, very reliable sources our spending will come in this order:

1) Upgrading the seats/suites in the South Endzone.
2) Increase coaches' and assistant coaches' salaries. (Likely tied to attracting new coaches if we don't get the product we expect on the field/court).
3) North Endzone overhaul and West stands suite buildout.
4) Second level on West and possibly East stands. Both were built to accommodate future expansion.

#1 will happen within the next 2 years. #2 will happen concurrently with #1 unless it's determined that we need coaches after this season. 6-6 is the threshold it seems for football. Basketball bought themselves a few years after last season. #3 is a huge income generator, so it's likely 3-5 years away. And #4 will be evaluated over the next several years. I wouldn't expect any movement on a second level for at least a decade unless we get courted by the AAC.
