Did some digging.

Compared to the team Georgetown played the Bahamas select NT did not have Jaron Cornish (Currently has 9 vs us and finished with 20 against Texas Tech) or D'Shon Tayler (dropped 30 on us in the first game, 42 vs Temple)

Texas Tech played the same team we are playing today but the Bahamas select NT did not have D'Shon Taylor (stated information above. Other than that would say it's the same team.

Georgetown won by 30.

Texas Tech lost by 6.

I think the version we are playing is close to best version of the Bahamian Select NT team.

the periscope of drew hill explained you arent playing the same tech team either.. they are missing 2 key players one formerly of Michigan state but it is still a relatively close team

Yeah, I think they are fairly similar and I was just trying to gauge the team Memphis is playing.

will do memphis now (as likely last game is a blowout) and make a conference wide one after memphis last game ..memphis 3-0 in Bahamas

[Image: EB2k2r8XUAEbiXJ?format=jpg&name=360x360]

What we learned:

- memphis is going to overwhelm most of the teams they play with talent

- Damion baugh- the least talked about about player on the memphis roster (before move in day)...will likely start (or close)...will probably be the fan favorite...he set the entire tone of physicality of the game, was in the faces of defenders all game, trying to dunk on people, hustling every play...clapping in peoples faces (almost started 2 fights)....might finish the season as the leader on the team, was yelling at other players on his team when they messed up

- Lester- is super calm for a freshman, he played the game at his pace, didnt force anything, but finds lots of space to score. reminds me of a young Cumberland but a bit bigger ...could be star if he plays more than 1 year

- lomax is more aggressive on offense

- jayden hardaway is probably going to end up playing a lot more than previous assumed

Good game for the Tigers. That was the best Bahamas NT they have. Better roster than the one that beat whatever form of TX Tech they played, lol. And we played without Wiseman, Precious or Dandridge. And missed a TON of shots underneath.

Still won by 10, even after starting out ahead 8-0, then giving up a 17-1 run to the Bahamas team in the first quarter.

Dang, P, I think I agree with all of that. If this team reaches its potential, it will be scary good. The experience thing is my only caveat.

Right now, I think Baugh and Boogie start at the guard spots (take your pick), DJ Jeffries at the 3, and Precious and Wiseman at the 4 and 5, of course. All freshmen.

That leaves Lester coming off the bench first for guards and wings, and Lance Thomas for bigs.

And then we still have Tyler Harris, Alex Lomax, Malcolm Dandridge, Jayden Hardaway, Ryan Boyce, and Isaiah Maurice.

Btw, Chicken Knowles was on the Bahamas team. Houston fans will recognize that name. And Buddy Heild was in the house.

Lester and one of Tyler or Alex as the first guards off the bench should be pretty damn good. I think playing time will be pretty even for the 7-8 that becomes our rotation.

Yes especially DJ and lance. Those putbacks they missed will be thunder dunks for wiseman and precious. I dont know why DJ does a hook kinda layup. Just go up strong.

The Tigers - in only their third game together without two projected lottery picks and a four star big - played a bunch of grown men (some of whom are pros) and won by double digits. It is a positive sign.
