IMO, probably the best told story of the Bonnie and Clyde era. Instead of through the eyes of B&C, it's told through the lens of two former Texas Rangers who hunted them down. The film takes some liberties with what actually happened but by and large it's both an accurate portrayal and really, really good film. Perhaps the best original Netflix movie I've seen to date.
Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson - no brainer to see this if you haven't yet.
I watched this one too. It was good. I liked Costner a lot more than Harrelson (as he gets older, he sounds more and more like he has a mouth full of cotton when he speaks). It's interesting that they showed so little of Bonnie & Clyde in this movie. Netflix also put on the original B&C movie (the 1967 version with Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway) and I watched about 2/3rd of that all over again. That movie hasn't aged that great really. It's okay, and I get it's ground-breaking in some regards (especially the final scene), but honestly, it's a bit boring 52 years later.
If you want to watch another male-dominated new movie on Netflix, Triple Frontier isn't bad. It's a heist film in South America about four ex-military buddies who rob a drug king.
Bolded above. IMO, that was the point, and why I really enjoyed. The story told focusing on Bonnie and Clyde has been done over enough and glorified them as much as they were originally. I enjoyed it more as told through lawmen's perspective.
Haven't watched Triple Frontier yet but intend to.

It’s like Game of Thrones of the solar system. Factions, romance, deceit and great core group of actors. Give it a go before season 4 comes out.

The most realistic depiction of space travel in the near future ever filmed.
There's a new Sci-Fi movie that was released on Netflix today that's called The Wandering Earth. You probably have never heard of it but it's the #3 grossing movie in the world this year, having made over $700 million (behind Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel). Almost all of that money is from China, which makes sense because it's probably the most elaborate Chinese movie ever made.
I think if you like sci-fi, you'll like it. Basically Earth is dying and the only way we can survive is to move our planet into a new solar system. The special effects are super impressive, but again, it's a Chinese film so really the only way to enjoy it I think is to watch it in Chinese with American subtitles. It is interesting to see how the Chinese culture differs from ours, but also to see how the Chinese don't want this planet to die either. Now if they can just talk some sense into their neighbors in North Korea.

Peaky Blinders on Netflix is excellent. Four seasons. I just started the second season. Originally a BBC series so you have to keep up as some of the dialog is a little difficult to track. Britain is a mixture of despair and hedonism in 1919 in the aftermath of the Great War. Returning soldiers, newly minted revolutions and criminal gangs are fighting for survival in a nation rocked by economic upheaval. One of the most powerful gangs of the time is the Peaky Blinders, run by returning war hero Thomas Shelby and his family. But Thomas has bigger ambitions than just running the streets. When a crate of guns goes missing, he recognizes an opportunity to advance in the world because crime may pay but legitimate business pays better. Trying to rid Britain of its crime is Inspector Chester Campbell, who arrives from Belfast to try to achieve that goal.

Really enjoyed The Highwaymen. I thought Woody did a great job.
Triple Frontier was pretty good.
If anyone is into zombie apocalypse shows, Black Summer on Netflix was good.
Just finished "The Society" on Netflix. Its about a bunch of high school kids that return from a field trip to find their small town abandoned. That one was actually better than I thought it was going to be. Kinda like the "The 100" but with slightly better writing. I also watched "Sex Education" (also on Netflix). The first episode was a little slow---but show gets funnier after that episode. Its kind of a British coming of age show. Its worth watching. Kinda raunchy at times...but kinda sentimental at times as well. Gillian Anderson from the "X Files" plays the mom. lol...I didnt even recognize her at first.

Into the third season of Peaky Blinders and it just gets better as it goes along. A good bit of violence but a lot of intrigue and cliff hangers between episodes.
"The Hot Zone" on Nat Geo is fascinating. It's a 3 night limited series, and night 3 is tonight. It's 6 total hour long episodes about the Ebola outbreak among monkeys that happened outside DC in 1989. Definitely suspenseful, interesting stuff. All Star Cast. Highly recommend.

Chernobyl is excellent. I was going to post on it tonight but you got there first. The sacrifice many of the Soviet people gave to save lives is incredible and touching.
I only have two episodes of Peaky Blinders left to see. I will have withdrawal after that. This is an excellent series and I'll say it again, It just gets better as it goes along. Season 4 is centered on Thomas Shelby's biggest challenge so far, the New York mafia is coming after him and the entire Shelby family. A lot of tense moments and a cliff hanger at the end of each episode. I said it early on in the series, Poly is someone you don't mess around with. These gypsy women have an other world sense and the guys are tough as nails. In season 4 you will see Little Finger from Game of Thrones and just as nasty in this series as a ruthless gypsy that is not necessarily friendly with the Peaky Blinder group. Tom Hardy also plays another antagonist to the blinders as a Jewish gang leader starting a few seasons back from season 4.

Finished season 4 of Peaky Blinders. It looks like the next challenge is the communists. We are watching it all over again until we find something else to grab our attention.
