That’s a very nice pickup from a coverage standpoint. If you’re driving on I-65 you can pick it up clearly from Prattville all the way to Lacon Mountain on the Cullman-Morgan line. And it might improve the chances of basketball moving to 94.5 as well. The only other play by play on that signal now is the Braves, which isn’t a problem Nov-March.

I don't know if any of you listened to 3 Man Front on Friday, but they broadcasted from Legacy Pavilion DURING practice, and it was pretty much 4 solid hours of Blazer ball.

Those guys have always put on a solid show. Cole has his own show up here in Huntsville, and he’s very good at what he does in my opinion. It is extremely beneficial to the program to have the local media do things like this as opposed to whatever the hell it was we used to get. I’m very impressed that all parties have seemingly decided to work together instead of worrying about stuff in the past.

Don't kid yourself. JOX is the king of cutting games/post-games off before they are completed. They went to CBS radio and never returned earlier this season with the Braves game still in the 7th.

BTW, CBS is at war with DirecTV so all CBS channels are off that satellite service. If carried into the fall it will mean no NFL on Ch 42 Sundays and no college games (like UAB) on CBSSN (Ch 221). This also affects the Smithsonian channel (570) but that is not a sports channel.

But if all else fails, spend $9.99 for some digital RCA rabbit ears and hook them up to your antenna "In" slot on the back of your digital flat screen TV.
It you live in the boonies, spend $40 and get the same results.

Oh ok. I never understood why UAB games were aired on 107.7 anyway. But Whitney was an idol in the African-American community so her death was shocking and unexpected. And if a UAB game had been on 107.7 when Prince died the same thing would had happen again. So I'm glad UAB will have games aired on a sports radio station instead of an R&B, Pop, or Hispanic station.

I heard HCBC's first season on 107.7 every Saturday while I was delivering pizza, but good for the Blazers.

If he was 10 years younger, he would be still trying to shut us down through blocking raises, building, hiring/firing, etc...
