What time is Fan Fest? Did I miss something?
Maybe I am overlooking something big time, but nowhere on GoTigersGo or the University Athletic site do I find even a mention of Fan Fest. It seems the University has zero interest in promoting it. If I have as a hardcore fan have so much trouble trying to find out when it is, what is the regular Tiger fan to do?

Go ahead and set me straight. I must be overlooking something. Thanks!

I can’t find it on the website. Google has this old story that doesn’t have a time. I think they sent an email out...

It is at the LB.

Thanks for the info, Tigernole. How did you find this out? Sent out in an e-mail? Same old, same old lack of marketing to the city. I am convinced that someone at the U. hates this event. We are one week away. This should be front page on GoTigersGo and the U. athletic site.

WHY??????????????? If this bothers you, please call and ask whoever you can get on the phone. Is this how other major universities market their fan fest?

gotigersgo IS the U of M athletic site.

I saw it on Twitter, on Facebook, heard in mentioned multiple times on the radio and even heard it on tv. Other than on their site, which I do agree is an overlook, I have seen it posted about everywhere I look.

Some of us geezers don't do twitter. I listen to NPR and WEVL on the radio, not sports radio and don't do tv. How hard is it to put on GoTigersGo? Isn't that their marketing job?

Every year, people tell me they wish they had known about it. A lot of people aren't as crazed Tigers fans as most of us on here. Even a small sign at the entrance to the Liberty Bowl near Central would be nice. How many cars pass by there every day?

They are just pulling your leg. They didn't really care about fan fest.

Just received an email about it!!!

Of course, it was labeled 1 week left remaining to get the ticket book. With fan fest afterwards.

I got that one too. I thought it was going to have a preview of what the ticket book would look like but nothing else was mentioned. Why not just put fan fest in the title of the email?

Probably copied the mailing list and forgot to change the title.

Looking forward to the future when they can do this at the IPF. Waaaaay too hot to go out there today. The backyard pool is the only place to be outside on days like today

I doubt it would be an open scrimmage at that point. Too many people would be there and get in the way so it would probably turn into just a meet and greet with the sale or whatever.
