I know that nationally we have a good reputation for what we look like on the field.

Liked the ones from the early/ mid 80s w/ the "Tigers" on the side

Oregon built their brand on cool uniforms. Nothing wrong with it because recruits and players like it. I personally think we have the coolest uniforms in college football.

I used to scribble the cursive Tigers logo on all of my notebooks in junior high school back then.
Loved that logo.

I itched the idea for striped helmets a few years ago (around 2010 or 11) and was met with a resounding...no.
I had helmets designed like the NFL Cincinnati Bengals decked out in the Memphis Blue and gray stripes.

Ugliest helmets in all football. At least the bengals were original, we have the title of copying the worst !

The most successful time in Tiger football history is done by "Striping Them Up".YOU CAN'T BE A TIGER UNLESS YOU GOT YOUR STRIPES. Yes, I like the stripes.

I'd have preferred the stripes over 'THIS UGLY'.

Now that's ugly for tradition's sake.........don't want to go there either.

We have great uniforms. Love the striped helmets. It sets us apart from every other team.

We can all agree the Tigers “Seahawks” helmet from the Stobart era was the worst.

I like all the striped helmets except the white ones, love the chrome. I don't like the stripes on the jerseys and pants, they look like midnight on Beale Street wear. So, fix it, please. Thank you.

Flash is better for Football..I vote flash and more flash. Even if some of y'all fogeywogeys can't let go of the good ole days, the football players are not into uniforms worn before their daddies were born...unless it's a passing style for retro day.

Well, I'm Ok with the uniforms as is but if you look at AL, UGA, Clemson & most of the top P5 programs they are pretty traditional & the success they have with players (recruiting) can hardly be argued. Again, I'm OK with the uniforms but I'm not looking for flash but maybe distinctiveness.

When we get to be a traditional power we can wear non flashy boring old white guy uniforms....until then we need every advantage we can get... and btw:

comparing ourselves to Alabama UGA and Clemson is stupid, we need to compare ourselves to FSU, Louisville, Boise State, Oregon these are the schools that have ascended during our lifetimes. (Boise and Louisville to a lesser extent of course)

Charlie Bailey era. Stobart brought us from navy to tiger blue with silver helmets with MSU jumping tiger.

Seahawk helmets looked very good beating Florida, though.

You're not the only one. But you are in a vast, vast minority. I love our uni combos. Think we have the best colors in college athletics. And I like the striped helmets.
