Also finally got the parts for the east side bleacher seats it appears.

Think that through. Can't have different colors at the two goal lines, so you have to have the same color between the 45's. Plus, it looks better for the center logo to be centered mostly on the darker green (or same color).

I love the new turf colors. While the old turf had a more natural green color, it didn't look as sharp, especially on TV. And I love the blue end zones. The green end zones had no visual pop.

The old turf had a problem. It had a terrible reflection of the lights. I posted an article years ago where a school (can't remember who) had the same problem with that exact same turf and had it replaced. Not sure what the cost was to the school, if any, but obviously we didn't pursue that. Hoping the glare issue does not exist with this turf. The lights are taller but the camera will be higher as well. We'll have to wait for the next rainy night game to find out.

I've amused that the goal posts haven't been removed...they have a foot square piece of the old turf around them.

Turf looks good. Really like the blue end zones.

Turf looks really good under the lights and that is with only 1 light on.

Question,

Is it true that the football team has outgrown the current locker room in the game day building?

Is it true that the new stadium doesn't have a home team locker room?

I was down in Norfolk this weekend and drove past the stadium to check it out. While it isn't the biggest stadium, it is much bigger in person that in pictures, or at least it was for me. The press box does have a presence from Hampton blvd, and the new grandstands gives it much more of a "big boy" football feel. I can't wait to see it packed this season when I come back down for gameday!
