"Nov. 28 vs. NC State – The Tigers will take on the Wolfpack on Thanksgiving Day at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn as part of the Barclays Center Classic.

NC State lost four pieces last season’s roster in Torin Dorn, Eric Lockett, Jalen Lecque and Wyatt Walker, but add the No. 34 recruiting class in the country.

The Wolfpack were hit with a notice of allegations from the NCAA last month relating to college basketball’s ongoing pay-for-play saga.

Memphis pushed back its participation in the Myrtle Beach Invitational to 2020-21 in order to play in the Barclays Center Classic this season. That tournament will feature Villanova, Tulane, Mississippi State, Utah, Coastal Carolina, Ohio, Middle Tennessee and Baylor this season."

Thank God, cause we got airplane tickets and rooms and then everything went quiet. Can't wait!

I wish we had stayed in Myrtle Beach tournament-probably At least 2 games against high D1 competition as opposed to the single game vs N.C State. I’m sure Penny had his reason IF he did this. Could have been greedy admin wanting 2 more home games.

The crazy thing about all of this is it seems that this was done as part of recruiting pitch.

This and Northeastern gets Lester and Precious two games very close to home. Penny is working it on the recruiting trail.
