Only David St. Lest we not forget the sacred cow of the Conference Realignment Board, Rice.
I bet that isn't sourced. OD is interesting. That is a pretty decent population metro area, Tidewater, Newport, Hampton and a hell of a good football recruiting hotbed.
Yeah, I mean, they could legitimately become the next USF in a few years...people forget, the Bulls football program just turned 22 overall and 18 in FBS years, and was admitted to the Big East when they were only 4. I could see ODU turning into something with the VA Beach area and the amount of good football and basketball in VA and NC. And even though they do have a smaller than desired stadium, they have sold out literally every D1 football game in their history, which is something that definitely can't be said about our other small stadium brethren. I'd be ok with adding them, as I could see them being a .500 football team and turning into something in basketball with how solid the recruiting grounds are in DC and NC.
Public research institution with a growing enrollment in a Top 30 media market and a Top 10 population state WITHIN our geographic footprint? I'd take 'em if BYU doesn't work out, they have greater potential than any of the other candidates listed for various reasons.
