RE: Bearcat Nation - Boycott Time !
Saw this yesterday. I will not be going to Skyline for a very long time. There are LOADS of other places to get chili... Blue Ash, Camp Washington, Empress, Dixie, Price Hill, Pleasant Ridge, Chili Time, even Gold Star. Skyline won't be getting my business, that's for sure.

Glad to see Skyline Chili seems to be expanding and strengthening in Kentucky. The more Skyline Chili's, the better.

I thought the same thing when I heard on the news that Skyline was the official chili of UK. WTH?
I love Skyline but Gold Star is a close second...but with this Gold Star it is unless or until I find out that Skyline approached UC about being the official chili of the Bearcats and UC said no thanks.

This is pretty gross. But whatever -- even though we have Skyline up here in Columbus, I haven't had it in 2 or 3 years. I like it and all, but I try to avoid fast food these days. So f 'em.

Time for UC to return the favor and nab one of UK’s local corporate sponsors. Who’s a big sponsor of theirs- Friends of Coal, Kentucky Farm Bureau?

Nah, UC returning the favor would be partnering with one of Skyline's competitors (since Skyline partnered with one of our competitors). Since Gold Star is the only competitor large enough to offer a decent contract, we would have to go with them.

I hope not. I won't eat Gold Star. But I will go with whoever throws us the most cash.

Skyline sponsors UC and the shootout. Who cares if they also sponsor UK?

The Skyline chili sold at Rupp will be made from squirrel meat.

I boycott Skyline already for the irreparable damage it did to my colon in college.

Let's think about this just a minute...

Maybe they can help us slip a poisoned cheese coney to Calipari.

I'm always amazed at the strong opinions regarding which Cincinnati Chili Place is best. I pretty much like them all.

Are you from Cincinnati originally? I always find that the non-Cincinnatians (with whom I am grouped) don't really care because it all tastes roughly the same.

My exact thoughts. With more Cincinnati area kids heading to Lexington, it's a wise marketing move.

A Cincinnati area lifer (other than spending my freshman year of college in Rock Hill, South Carolina). I taste a difference but not enough that I feel passionately about 1 over the other. I like them all. I feel like people's strong preference generally come from where their family went for their Cincinnati Chili fix.

I eat more skyline than anything because that's where my wife's family goes.

I prefer Skyline but I really like Blue Ash and Camp Washington. Never have been a big Gold Star guy.
