Unbelievable that this is even remotely possible. I think its going to be close, might even happen.

Even if that happens, Memphis will NEVER go 15-0. Just look at the AAC Championship game last season. If you didn't see that game was rigged, you just didn't want to watch. I will say the last two seasons were somewhat questionable, but last year was blatant.

It was rigged to make sure the AAC team with the best record won. If we were undefeated going into the AAC championship game, we would be on the receiving end of the unfair preferential treatment.

I totally agree. My point is that it will be rigged so that the G5 rep never makes it out of the second round, probably not even the first if they are ever included in the playoffs.

There is almost zero chance a G5 team ever wins it all (have to cover my bases on that one because someone might bet me on it 03-shhhh).

Extremely unlikely is not the same thing as impossible. Not even close.

Ok to make my stance clearer. It is 100% impossible for this team to go undefeated next season. If anyone would like to make a wager on this team going undefeated next season I am willing to make a very, very, very, very large bet. I will even go and get a mortgage on my paid for house to make the bet as large as I possibly can.

That's your opinion, but it is in no way impossible.

Here, I'll break it down for you.

Ole Miss - W
Southern - W
Louisiana Monroe - W
South Alabama - W
Houston - W
Navy - W
Tulsa - W
Tulane - W
Southern Methodist - W
Cincinnati - W
South Florida - W
Temple - W
AAC Title - W
Bowl - W

In the next 1,000 years, we will NEVER go undefeated in either sport.

This is stupid as hell.

Did someone forget what alias they were using? Or do we have 2 different people who find it necessary to argue about a thread totally intended as light-hearted fun?

Since you say it isn't remotely possible, I will take your bet. I bet $1 at 100,000:1 odds that we go undefeated in both sports!! And that is giving you a break on the odds, since it's 100% impossible.

Wasting your time. Logic is lost on that one.

Coming from you is a joke. And using that stupid post as your quote just shows how much a joke you really are.

This is an embarrassing thread and can only be used to mock how incredibly unrealistic certain members of this message board can be.

I'm probably telling my age, but, when I went to Memphis, we were glad if the football team won 1 or two games in a year. LOL

How far we have progressed!....

Reading all of this makes me believe even more that it can happen.

I say we have a Beale Street Parade for our 14-0 (maybe 15-0) football team
Then we have a Beale Street Parade for our 40-0 basketball team

Then we close down our athletic department and have a Labor Day Tiger Celebration weekend every year for all eternity and never have to deal with this stuff again!

GTG!!!!
