ODU has better basketball. Stadium getting re-done and they’d actually have sell outs which would look much better on tv

Depends on the year whether ODU or UAB has better basketball. I saw that ODU was having their stadium redone, buy you are getting a new one.

Would think ESPN would like the TV ratings for UAB football more than ODU. Would think that UAB would get a few Friday night ESPN games to take advantage of rabid football viewers in Alabama. ESPN will have a say in this.

The argument against UAB being in the largest tv market is that doesn’t mean people are actually watching us when we are on tv. Plus, Friday’s are no good for anyone in the south. HS football is king.

Quickly counted 5 Thursday night AAC conference games.

If it gets us on espn or espn 2 on thursdays, I can dig it. It’ll be all for nothing if it lands us on Espn plus or 3. For me, UAB will take priority on any day. Just worried about getting the casuals to the games

I didn’t say anyone else was not a contender. Just listed my top three. I just don’t have time I. My life to list every team and what it has to offer.

BTW. STFU on social media about the BOT stopping us or hindering us. I am getting that message from people close to the situation. Be positive.

Stop it. Just stop

I think the timing would be better if this happened in 2021, but our future is promising with the stadium, Clark signed to legit long term deal, new marketing agreement, recent facility upgrades, and general campus growth.

Add the Bham football market to that list. But my optimism in our AD and pres getting it done is limited.

Good place for UConn, back to the Big East, Would rather see the Blazers stay home or the Big 12.

ESPN is knot in favor of UAB, and the B-ham market is the number 1 market because of Bama and Auburn. Hence Auburn and UAB Basketball, but Coach Clark is very much liked and respected in Birmingham. I would stay in Cusa as long as they accept us as a Charter member till the new Stadium comes out and see the Draw.

The Blazers will have to bring 50k to be noticed and well that's knot much.

UAB is lucky to have a team! Thanks for Coach Clark. !.

PLEASE STFU!!! And stop listing every reason why not. If some of you want better basketball coverage, RPI, and chances to get into march madness then this is the time to help and not hinder it.
