It was nice to have Isiah visit and pretty impressive on Rowe’s part but there was never a chance of landing him. The only sliver of hope was that he is close friends with Greg Jones who is no longer with the team.

That article was a nice off-season read with lots of good recruiting information. Mettlen flubbed his research a little though. In the second sentence he mentions this will be Rowe’s most experienced team in his 4 years which isn’t true.

His first team was the 4th most experienced in the entire nation with 8 returning seniors including 4 starters. Somehow that inexplicably turned into a nightmare 1-11 start to the season.
Let’s hope Rowe has learned from his 3 seasons of failure and can become a competent coach with his second most experienced roster.

This isnt 2020 recruiting but I hope Rowe has been in contact with this kid. I’ve seen him play in person and he’s crazy talented.
It’s a long shot similar to Todd because I bet he will be receiving more top offers soon but as a guy from Richmond it’s worth a shot.
