Also doesn't hurt that the John Sisk is the new boss man of this beautiful facility. His resume as a speed, strength, and conditioning director at the P5 level for 17yrs is pretty impressive. Some serious pro athletes under his resume.

Is there another room?

Dave Cohen did say, "talking about that weight room, it's a size of a small department store you got going on here." whatever that means. It's a very subjective description unfortunately. not very clear from that short interview video..03-banghead

It really hurts that there's a lot of use of darker colors. That helps to make rooms feel smaller. I know ya'll can't open up to the outside because of the specifics of the facility, but whoever did the interior design didn't really do ya'll a lot of favors on that.

Also please god let there be more graphics/signage on the way. It's a bit too sterile from everything I've seen so far throughout the facility.

No more shuttling back and forth from the 188 Practice Facility to the GSU Stadium. Never. Again. Not. A. Single. Time. More. The team can eat, practice, study, watch films, conduct team meetings, lift weights, practice some more, take naps/watch movie/play xbox, or whatever else all under one roof from this point on.

not gonna lie, this makes me emotional a little. we came from lifting weights under temporary tents to having a proud football ops center with a built-in training facility. Really tough road to starting a FBS team from nothing. One day.. once GSU football achieves some sort of consistent success, this is a story worthy of making a netflix documentary.

I'm sorry ya'll had to struggle under such overwhelming odds. I'm not sure how you did it.

You meant it as a snub, but I wouldn't necessarily hate the nationwide publicity.

wasn't easy for the OG coaches and players for sure. I think Bill Curry did his best despite the circumstances. As I understand it, he single-handily made some things happen for the athletics.

I'm sure there will be a new drone footage flying over the sight coming out in the 2 weeks.

We are also updating the videoboard and redoing the floor for the Mitchell Center.

Georgia State fans, is there any truth to tennis courts being put in at y'all's stadium? (I guess where right field use to be?) I had someone tell me about it, but then someone else refuted saying it was some conceptual drawing from a student. Just curious how that would work. And why?

Absolutely no. It was a student class project.

Last mentioned use of that space by a REAL architect is that the space is reserved for an IPF.

Geez man, all you had to say was "if you read the whole thread on PT, you'd know the answer was no". Considering we're on a message board right here, I simply assumed you were referring to one of the million different threads on this site. My sincerest apologies. Perhaps the person who told me about it saw it on PT? I couldn't tell you. I don't post on your site, which is why I decided to post what I thought was a completely relevant question to the topic of this thread to your fans here. Fortunately one of your fans was polite enough to answer my question without being rude about it.
