The kid at CCU could have been huge for us!
Ya never know really. Clearly by all of those examples and as we know, a player’s output and success is largely system generated. If they opt to transfer to a school that doesn’t fit a system they’re comfortable in the stats tend to drop off and vice versa.
Personally, when it comes to talented recruits I like where we are right now. McGrath, IMO has done quite a phenomenal job of recruitment, especially considering the cupboard left bare and exposed as mentioned at the beginning of the article.
Cylla leaving is really a head scratcher, but Jeff Gary transferring was a no brainer as it was obvious he was recruited over and his skill level just wasn’t up to par to compete in the CAA. The addition of Toews, emergence of Gadsden, Estime and Sims meant Gary would’ve spent the rest of his career on the bench.

PAiring that kid along side of Cacok would have been dynamic. But can't cry over spilled milk. Was just interesting to me to see where they all were now.
I do agree recruiting has been solid for sure. But can he coach? That still is what remains to be seen
