3 months is a long time in stadium construction. And they have a lot of money ($300M) and a lot of resources.

Bigger press box just looks like out of place.. more obstructed seats.. to be fair the Chargers should be playing at the Coliseum or the Rose Bowl..

I thought the press box was temporary. Anyway I like that USC putting money into the building.

South end zone wall is coming down, as well as the old video boards. In the background is the old bathrooms and visitor's locker room. New in stadium bathrooms under construction. The South end zone will be come a Hospitality Plaza, which is a $25 up charge for access. Will wait to post pictures of the pieces as they near completion. Also the new turf field for the IPF has started.

The price increase but don’t know the amount.

Part of the increase is because they sold out of the suites and now are adding more .

Fifty one million 4200 seats uses mass timber CLT in the construction .
Nice premium banquet area 12 by 36 center hung video scoreboard.
I think it is a smart design WSU averaged 2800 last year .
Idaho has had attendance around two thousand recently last year much worse. It will pack out every other year for the WSU game. Montana game is usually a good crowd. Boise St refuses to play in Moscow that was a well attended game.

Interesting as that kind of money would fix the football situa for the foreseeable future.

You mean expand the dome I guess?
There was a plan for about twenty two thousand seats for twenty seven million. No conference no rivals like UTEP and New Mexico like NMSU has so no point.
BSU refuses to play in Moscow and Montana sells out already in FCS.
If Both were FBS and on the schedule like NMSU's rivals Idaho would be FBS independent.
The arena should be a big boost to the A. D. getting basketball out of the dome/Memorial Gym.
The dome for basketball and football idea has passed.
UNI built an arena attached to there dome along with USD and now Idaho.
NAU is planning a 2500 seat arena.
Idaho St is planning to build a three thousand seat arena.
None of the smaller domes have end zone seating like Syracuse.
Always thought it could be done well with low twenties dome with basketball set up in end zone like Syracuse only tighter.
CCU is almost done with their stadium expansion to 20700 looks pretty good . I ride by it all the time kinda cool watching it get built.

Chopper video from today. Really taking shape and such a drastic difference in size compared to the old. Almost double in height.

ODU's stadium looks great and actually looks bigger/better than the renderings I saw. Was there changes to the original design?
The renderings that have come out are pretty much changing every time as they've raised more money or other things change.

I think the latest renderings as visible in the seat selection website are what we will see. The north end zone is now about 2 or 3 years out. They're starting a campaign after some other priorities like more suites I believe. Not sure what or where those will be but my guess is on east side.

I went to see it in person when they had a open house and it really is a lot bigger than I anticipated based on renderings. The west side was 54 ft tall and now its 93 or so. Makes a huge difference. The stands are very steep and angled for viewing. Its going to be very loud in this thing. I'm getting excited.

I hope they finish in time as this construction had a very ambitious schedule.

It's looking good. Might be some little things here and there to work out just after opening day but its moving fast. We are in the middle of season ticket selection right now. Got real yesterday.

How many seats looks similar to Coastal's with more end zone seating.

Bit-9, how does the selection seating process work. Is by last years or this years donation level or is their something like points that have accumulated year after year. Or is it based on a license seating plan, which guess is basically this years donation level plus a commitment for x number of years. Remember that there is one huge donor.

22k or so seats.

Its points for cumulative years of giving, number of seats, total amt given, bonus things like rings or whatever during year, and some other criteria I'm not recalling.

The metrics seem to value new money over old money. Example if I had donated 5k over 10 years I'd have lost priority points to pick my seats this year than donating 5k this year alone. Which kind of makes sense if you want to bring in new blood and reward that but tends to disenfranchise some long time donors.

Earlier in year everyone committed to season tix and paid 200 per seat membership fee. Some seats are 100 per seat and some go up to 250 per seat. I dont believe there is a membership fee for north end zone seats, just 85 per season ticket. I might have to verify that.

Based on your priority points as defined above you get to pick your tickets via a online system. Each person gets a overlapping 15 minute window over 3 weeks. If you end up getting 100 dollars seats they reduce what you pay at checkout by the number you already committed to earlier.

Let's say you wanted 2 season tix. That was 400 dollar commit. You end up buying 2 tickets in the high end spots. That's 235 per ticket and 250 membership fee. So 970 total minus the 400 you already paid at purchase time.

We're 2 weeks in and it feels like a lot more tickets available than years past but we increased tickets by a few thousand and also many are scaling back a bit based on new membership fees because of the Cox legislation on donations.

I think in the end we will still sell out on season tickets or get close with some corporations scooping up the stragglers.
