But the visitors side still has to turn around backwards to see it.

What then, do you suggest that would solve that problem? 03-banghead

A football stadium.

The game should be played at Mercedes-Benz stadium because that’s every football players’ dream to play there.”

Since the Braves moved out of Turner Field, the once sparkling Olympic Stadium quickly lost its charm, becoming only a shell of its former self.

After attending Atlanta Legends AAF games and seeing behind the scenes, it was evident that the new venue of the GHSA state championships could use some upgrades.

Georgia High School players not happy at all about this move.

How is the stadium rotting away if it was just renovated? Did they leave some old parts alone and not upgrade them?

Rotting away might be an overstatement (and this is coming from a GS fan.....) but significant parts of the stadium on the concourses were "renovated" by slapping a coat of paint over the already peeling/flaking previous coat of paint with very little prep work.

I guess it is like the other stadium expansions in the Belt. The old is left alone mostly and the new is added on.

The few complaining are upset because they will not get to play in MBS. If you have been inside MBS you would understand why. No other stadium on the planet is MBS.

I get it. Not only is it an NFL stadium it's the best of the new stadiums. Any kid would want to play there. It is why it's a slanted article that really doesn't make sense. Of course want to play in MBS/Falcons stadium. It isn't a slight against GSU as much as it's just the gold standard of stadium in the country.

Done???

Sure... I mean, football is played there and all, but isn’t a lot of this thread dedicated to answering accusations from high schoolers about how they don’t want to play football there?

I think that has already been answered as well. Please try and keep up. I mean literally the three posts before yours...

Gotta love Southern folk complaining about our brand new gigantic video board being installed while they still have something called EagleVision that is like looking at retro Super NES.

You could probably fit like 5-7 of those SNES boards inside the space of PantherVision.

That's gonna be huge. Awesome. Maybe you can show movies on there to make up for the lack of ticket sales.

There's plenty of space for 35-14 though.

Be curious to see how much of it's used for ads. They gotta grind out that rent money somehow, cause they damn sure ain't selling tickets.

Maybe they can show some highlights from that dramatic win over Kennesaw.

Are you sure about that? You're not selling that many more tickets than us. Numbers actually mean something.

Well its Southern fans. I think their known mental issues and history speaks for itself. If someone points something out that ruins their argument, move onto the next point from their book of obsession.

Basically every thread devolves into this with their fan base.

No one is complaining about the board. The board itself will probably be pretty bad a$$. We're complaining that you have to turn around from your visitors seats to even see the darn thing, and according to your own posters, the view is even worse from the North seats. BUT....fear not.....it's apparently become the new cool thing to stand up on the concourse and drink beer since you can't see it from the seats.

Not sure what the new size will be exactly, though I'd prefer they make it more 16:9 instead of 4:3 which it is today. We'll find out soon enough what direction they decided to go once it's finished.
