Really? I was as big a critic of Mick's recruiting as anybody but I never made it racial. I just wanted basketball players with skills. Skin color shouldn't ever be a factor in evaluating a recruit.

I'm pretty sure that was directed at Jarr...as that has kind of been his M.O. for quite some time, but still kind of in bad taste.

Of course it shouldn't be a factor, but it apparently was one for Mick. Zero for 13 years, then the new coach magically signs a couple in his first month. There was something going on there...in Mick's head, that is.

That's been the MO for so many on this board that I can't keep track.

Just another reason we should be glad he's gone.

Not gonna lie... the lack of white guys recruited by Mick Cronin during his tenure here was eyebrow raising. Outside of coaches at HBCU's, you'd be hard pressed to find a coach over the last 10-15 years who went after less white guys than Cronin. It never personally bothered me, as white men aren't exactly hurting for opportunities in the professional world. Just a weird thing that can't be completely discounted.

Being accurate there was Adam Hrycaniuk.

People take some things a little too serious, especially if it involves race. I have made a few comments about it in the past, but mostly tongue in cheek. I don't have a racist bone in my body. The bigger issue to me was why certain types of players were clearly not drawn to our program for whatever reason. I have also been a big proponent of expanding internationally, which Mick was slow to get into. Why limit the size of your net?

Well, he was in Cronin's first class, so I guess it's 12 years then.

Exactly, it just seemed odd. Like why limit your pool of tale nt? But to be fair, Mick had offered scholarships just never recieved a commitment. I think by and large his style did not appeal to your typical driveway shooter from corn country.

Except I said "basketball players with skills". So AH clearly failed that test, although yes, he did have pale skin.

Funny, never noticed the lack of diversity of the ball club. People have too much time to worry about too much stupid sh#t. Talent, fit and character is what I care about.

Lotta good players in Spain...hope Sorolla likes his time here and reports back to his countrymen that UC has a great program.

Rumors are it is Jaevin. I think everyone is just waiting on pins and needles for Corryville Carl to confirm.

He changed his pinned teeet to his original prediction that both Cumberlands would be here next year.

I am totally confused about the dancing bearcat. It is a nice tease, but how long after the bearcat are we supposed to get The announcement?
