Sick and tired of this... there should be a new rule: Transfer to a P5 team (from a G5 team) and you will have to sit out next two years, no exceptions.

Which do y'all think happens more?

A G5 player enters the portal thinking he has a shot at a spot at a P5 school

or

A P5 player coming to a G5 school looking for more playing time after being pushed down the depth chart either be recruiting, injury, or coaching change?

I only ask because Georgia Southern has had I would guess 6-7 guys who mostly would have been lower on the depth chart enter the transfer portal but we also have 3 P5 players looking to transfer to GS at the moment as well.

I brought up on our board how this seems to be the system correcting itself.

Funny thing is RJ is good player and just seems to have crappy attitude. Honestly it doesn’t seem like any of the team, coaches, or fans are really that sad about him going. He was butt hurt Green was the focus last year . It’s probably better for Caleb that he’s gone. We have some redshirt seniors that got 5th year med RS that have been hurt a lot but both can produce and if they’re healthy. We have solid group of young wr, TE Josh Pederson is 100%, and we got a mother TE with good hands. I’m not worried about WR position at all .

I'll be glad he and Green are gone, I know that much.

The rumor was he was going back home. He’s from the same city as NW State. Former LSU player Jazz Ferguson has success when transferred in there. Former ULM OL coach is OL coach at Texas Tech. A spot opened up for him.

The feeling was his talents aren’t worth his crappy attitude. It’s alleged he could have played vs Ark State but stayed behind and had good time at the founders day party. Lol

He graduated Fall 2018

Can't be mad at a grad transfer wanting to better his career when we take them from other schools all the time. At the end of the day, it may be entertainment for us, but they're people like the rest of us, and they deserve to live their best life, wherever they decide to go to school.
