They've done less with more than anyone, ever, in NCAA basketball. And even that era is over. Once kids realized they didn't have to go to one of about 4 schools to get noticed, the jig was up. F Kentucky and their delusional fanbase.
They are ‘nervously’ dismissive of Memphis because they know Penny is about to take a seat at the table with them and the other top programs. Their arch-enemy however is Coach K and Duke, everything they do is compared to what Duke is doing. They talk more about Duke and ‘Rat face’ as they put it than any program in their conference. Some would rather have top players go to Memphis than to Duke because of the utter hate they have for them
It's funny how they mention the crime rate in Memphis but Cal used to champion and scream that Memphis was the safest campus in the state of Tennessee. Plus Cal used to talk about the diversity of what they will experience in Memphis vs going elsewhere. But I guess now it's different. If Memphis was beneath them then why did they come ask him to coach there.
Other fanbases are now talking about us because they are either nervous about us or becoming jealous of us with everything that has been happening under Hardaway's watch. Our staff continues to disrupt the normal and making everyone else uncomfortable.
That is always a good thing and the media has been taking notice.

Even tucked away in the mts of Cali, I have come across a bunch of different fans.
Three KY fans live here--2 are retired CEO millionaires who still love Cal btw.
The other is just bumfuzzled cray cray--first time he spotted my Memphis Tigers Clock on the wall, he pulled down his pants so I could see his KY monogrammed underwear. Every year he comes in to bet me a quarter that KY will win it all.

They've done far more than Arizona. In the past 10 years, Arizona had had at least 4 top 3 recruiting classes, and another top 5 recruiting class (before this year's top 4 recruiting class). Out of that they have only reached the elite 8, doing so 3 times, made no final 4s, and missing the tournament entirely as many times as they reached the elite 8 (3x), getting past the 1st round only once in the past 4 years, including this year's disastrous season with several 3 and 4 stars. And their recruiting has been shady throughout, so Miller clearly is an overrated x/o coach. So no one has achieved less with more than Arizona.

Also, if you analyze the talent-laden rosters of those aforementioned BB's.... They have an awesome starting 5, while their bench is always a tremendous dropoff in talent.... Penny will have an AMAZING bench/platoon squad to come in an punish teams;push the pace and score....That's another caveat that needs just as much merit as who starts.....Alo/Tyler/Quinones/Baugh/Lance/Boyce/Mini Penny are gonna be fantastic as they develop and gain confidence while gelling into a cohesive unit
I dont get why yall lurk that board do much. All the success they had but they hate to evem think about a non rival school.who they call a mid major becoming something. F em, you shouldnt need their approval to feel happy about Penny.
