Parking garages look cool even though I never use them. Those things take forever to get out of during events.

An interesting development has been many of the larger (often older) donors do not like the packed Stadium Lot tailgating scene and have been requesting spots in the deck.

Hard to tell now, but it's actually going to be fairly attractive with towers and a brick facade.

I'm guessing the donors who are literally pulling in 30 minutes before gametime inching through the buzzed masses walking to the stadium want to be in the deck.

Getting to KBS on foot this season will suck because of the dorm construction and new end zone facility projects will create bottlenecks.

The amount of people requesting spaces in the deck. I've always thought of deck tailgating as a major downgrade compared to surface lots.

Yeah. Why would anyone want to tailgate in a parking garage?

Coming from the northeast, I've tailgated within the confines of a parking garage numerous times. They have their advantages and disadvantages.

Advantage: Weather related ....... Covered from the 90 degrees sun, rain/snow elements etc. Your tailgate gear will also stay clean.

Disadvantage: Often you can't grill in the parking decks. Traffic exiting the garage sucks. Kids have no where to play.

If you have pre made salads and subs with no kids on a unpleasant weather day, the parking garage is great! It's good to have the option

Given Boone's weather during football season I'd take the deck over a parking lot any day.

Boone weather in September and October is perfect for football, highs in the 70's, game time in the 60's.

Nice addition. Hopefully someday we'll have one built at Hancock Whitney Stadium, but for now, hoping for stadium completion by September 12, 2020. 04-cheers

I think it will be for $2,500 plus donors to Yosef. This was one of the choices that I was given for replacing my lost stadium parking space.

I've experienced three October snows in Boone. But that's still perfect football weather, weenies.

A decent portion of our fans show up an hour or so before kickoff, head to he Yosef Club Room for food & beverages then to their seats. Tailgaters ought to be grateful. It opens up additional tailgating spots for the diehards and they're won't be rolling in disturbing them. It's a win-win in my book.
