Their desperation is creating more and more Trump voters. Weird thing is they don't even realize it.

Ummm okay. 55% in a recent poll say that they will not vote for Trump. Hang on to your 35% majority buddy.

Remember that time the libs got all uppity about their polling success, then thought 'ol pants suit was gonna be pres?

They're all in the process of imagining their own, ideal candidate. Most won't get their way, and eventually, it will become a binary choice.

In other words, at the beginning of the 2016 primary season, I would have responded to that poll, "No, I will not vote for Trump.". You would have counted me on your side. Then, he became the Republican nominee and my other choice was hillary clinton.

Spoiler alert: I voted for Trump.

Personally, I don't really care what any polls say. You'd think D's would have learned not to trust the polls anyway considering past election results. I was just basing my opinion on my talks with fellow acquaintances that didn't vote for Trump last time but are now fed up with the constant attacks from the left. Not saying they have all said they will vote for Trump, but that they are now seriously considering it. THAT is a direct result of the D's actions since the election and can be easily extrapolated beyond my acquaintances.

Spot on. Trump was probably around my 15th choice out of the 20 (or whatever# that was), until it was no other choice at all.

Funny (interesting) thing looking back: that cycle was my sons first opportunity to vote in our elections. Our primary closed at 7, I got to the polling place around 6:50, no lines that way.

On my way out I spoke with a couple volunteers as they were pulling up the campaign flags, basically a printed plastic bag pulled over a wire frame, from around the entryway. I asked what they do with the flags and she just pointed to the dumpster.

I asked if I could grab a couple as it was my kids first election, she said sure, less work for her.

I took two. Got home, showed wife and son the memorabilia I’d grabbed him. They ask why just those two.

One from Kasich who he voted for in the primary.

The other Trump. Why? They asked.

Cause he may damn well win this entire thing.

They both laughed... guess what?

You guys love to create a narrative. The polls were national polls and showed HRC winning by the same percentage she won by.

RE: Did Barr lie?
So last night I had a dream that TB4E's Senator was Hillary. She came to town and he had her ear about some issue he was having. She agreed with him that something needed to be done about it and was very helpful in resolving the situation to his advantage. I somehow cornered her and was able to tell her that I had previously thought she was a complete byatch but that she'd handled herself with aplomb and class for him, and for that I was grateful. She was kind of curt in that she just walked off without really doing anything by way of acknowledgement other than a single nod of her head.

Next thing I know I'm finding out he climbed a tree next to the White House and they killed him with a drone.

I have no idea what to think about any of this but it struck me as odd that after he won a concession from her and after I gave her a backhanded compliment, he wound up dead. Seems even in my dreams she kills people.

Unless you're a fool (and I don't think you are), you know this isn't right.

iirc, one of the polls was named 270 to win. How exactly would you reach 270 with a national poll?
They also ALL predicted state elections based on turnout related to the EC

If you're saying that there were national polls that fairly accurately predicted the totals, that is correct... but there were DOZENS of state by state polls used to predict the outcome.

The reality is that the national polls would have been wrong as well, except that by the time California closed, Trump was the assumed victor in the states that mattered... Late turnout in Cali set records as a result (just in case the recounts or lawsuits went their way)... plus legalizing MJ was on the ballot.

Without that, they miss the popular vote as well.... and we all KNOW they didn't predict that Trump wins so the Cali turnout is higher.

Bull, the national polls were pure propaganda. The polls had her up 12 points 1-2 weeks out. The final polls weren't as bad, but almost all of them leading up to the end were fake. I think it was the ABC/WAPO tracking poll that went Hillary +12 to Hillary +4 overnight for no reason.

The state by state polling data isn't very good or up to date in all states at all times. That's why they post a national poll, which is useless but gives something for people to talk about.

You guys love to create a narrative. The polls were national polls and showed HRC winning by the same percentage she won by.

Are you referring to a popular vote that doesn't exist?

It exists, it's just not how we elect a president. Different topic. The national polls survey the popular vote.
