Rest assured, we will bring it. We're just not sure what "it" willl be.

Y’all sure think more of our team than most of us do. We will be very young again in defense and have huge questions marks at QB.

Yeah, but the winning tradition with you guys is long and deep. Plus your new coach is that kind of guy. Maybe it's not this year but it won't be long before the Cajuns are the team to watch again. App has the upper hand right now but that never lasts forever. We've all seen the cycles. But some, like UL, have more up cycles than down.

As long as we get to whip you at our place and you whip us at your place all is right in the football universe.

I don't think we deserve to get above 90, but I think our history and consistency gets us into low 80 range, maybe high 70's

We're just passively aggressively propping you guys up hoping to jinx you, and out of frustration with our own situation.

The reality is the winner of the West will come down to whoever wins our game in Jonesboro.

not to knock UL, but haven't they only really started winning in the past 7 or 8 years or so?

Wouldn't exactly call that a long and deep tradition of winning.

Why are ULL and ULM playing in Jonesboro?

Their schedule is made up mostly of CUSA schools with a few other Indy's sprinkled in. However, they have a lone Sun Belt team on their schedule in Coastal Carolina. The Chants smacked them around last year and are poised to do it again. They have yet to have a winning season since joining the FBS and have hired a new coach, former Arkansas State OC Walt Bell who is looking to make that happen.

Should be interesting to see if Walter can do anything to help them. He was a fine coach for us but I suspect the inability to recruit anyone to that school will really hamstring his efforts. It will be a wait and see for the next few years on this team.

I'd put you guys in the top 35-40. My guess is coaching change is going to keep you from any top 25 pre-season rankings. But for the conference's sake, I hope I'm wrong. Besides, I enjoy it when we get to beat ranked teams. (To soon?) 04-cheers
