Oh,and South Alabama whipped ULL last night in a series opener at their place.

The first game in today's DH in Boone has been an interesting one.

Eh, far more concerned about the hitting.

We conceded defeat and threw 2 freshman that had 1 appearance and 4 appearances the rest of the game after falling down 6-0.

Our lineup is so, so inconsistent. Either good or bad every day, never just average it seems.

3 hits is embarrassing for a team coming into this series with the 3rd best team avg in the conference, even against a pitcher as good as Shuman. Who was obviously really good last night.

Still hoping we can win this series, but not, uh, optimistic at this point.

Unfortunately it's baseball at stAte. Team has never done a whole lot so people overlook them when we are doing well.

After getting shut out on 3 hits last night we lead 7-0 on 9 hits in the bottom of the 3rd today.

Started at 10am and finally finished at 4:18 after several rain delays, but App wins game 2 with a score of 8-10.

We don't advertise, and we have very few baseball fans anyway. The best we ever did was a few years back when we got like 1500 here when the Cajuns came in ranked #2.

Not to mention that we've really struggled the last two weeks after winning in Myrtle Beach. That's where we've been hurt the most. Without a dedicated baseball fan base, we rely on casuals to bring a crowd, and losing to Memphis and then 2 of 3 to UL immediately after that ruined any chance we had of bringing them in.

Bobcats even the series with the Eagles with an 8-2 win today.

Rubber match moved up to tomorrow morning to try and get it in before expected afternoon storms (kind of like at the masters).

We are so inconsistent.

Game 3 against ULM is cancelled due to weather.

App is .500 in the Sun Belt

Bobcats win today 14-4. After dropping game 1 Friday, Cats rally to take the next 2, and the series from Ga. Southern.
