I admit, I never did really keep up with all the accusations against him. I’m not sure whether to view him with sympathy, harshness or a mixture of the two.

It was 'rape' in name only because of how Sweden defines things. He had consensual sex with two women without a condom and they believe he gave them HIV. So they filed a case, and the Swedes wanted to bring him back and charge him.

But those charges were dropped in 2017 or 2018.
He's stayed in the Embassy, because he claimed he feared being arrested by the UK and sent to the US for trial over the wikileaks stuff.

Which is exactly what's happening now. It's being reported that he will be extradited to the US.

He's somebody's crazy uncle.
