RE: stAte women's BKB coach hire
AState athletics are most likely done as a relevant program. The fan base has gone full Hogville.

Before the baseball season started the majority of online fans felt Raffo should have been fired at the end of last year or before that.

The fans puke out the words waterfalls like bleating sheep because the school spent a small amount of money to make the end zone corners something other than seats that are nearly impossible to sell or just blank space with grass growing giving the stadium a unique feature. It is now shorthand for bad decision.

The often repeated line is Terry can't hire.
His hires:
Golf now a top 25 program
Soccer better than it's been
Bowling only rated 4th in the nation
Football made a profit on Harsin who is now at an elite G5
Anderson hasn't been as good since Bell left but still in five seasons holds two conference championship rings and tied for the division last year. First season was rough but the next four in the no division format, finished no worse than a game out of first and last year in the division format, tied for the division title. I'm grumpy about Anderson but hell ain't no one going to sympathize with AState fans about how bad football is.
Basketball. Hired McCassaland who got a nice raise to go back home to his parents.
Balado hasn't showed much but he's year two after Mac took three kids to UNT and Brady had a recruiting bust.

That's the evidence Terry can't hire.

I don't like the Daniel hire because we could have hired the UCA coach who also had a losing record the last season coaching. It's not a young on the rise coach that we had hoped for. But if we had hired Daniel at any time prior to his fifth season at Marshall people would be loving the hire. I'd have picked elsewhere but not my career on the line making the picks.

We are one great stadium debate from being a pack of Razorback fans and dooming the program.

Piss on any prominate famy that can sway the hire of a coach away from the best candidate, to a family friend.
This hire sucks. Our athletic director has show his true colors. He is a politician, not an athletic director.

If politics played a role, then it was played with Dr. Welch I suspect, not TMo.

Wasn't Dr Welch. I had talked to him Friday morning and he said Terry had told him he was down to two names and hoped to have his recommendation later in the day.

I hope we hang a banner celebrating our tie for a division title.

Nothing inspires me like seeing a division title banner blowing in the breeze.

Like I effing suggested that. If you can't make a competent argument create some strawman BS argument.

My opinion on his hires.

I don’t cate about golf, bowling or soccer. I’ve never attended a game, or know anyone that has. Though, I do like hearing about them winning.
I’m more interested in if TMO has improved the sport.

Harsin? He was an incredibly bad fit. His style of football never fit our players.
We may have made money off him, but that’s not why you hire coaches.

Anderson? He has been riding on the success built since Freeze. He’s kept it above water for the most part, until last season. You can see a decline in each of his years.
Not a bad coach, but definitely not an improvement.

Boyer? Ha! He was renewed under TMO. 04-chairshot
He should have been the first fired.

I have read you lamenting division titles, and how coaches and athletic departments use them to bolster support for mediocrity...

And then, you do the same thing in support of the AD and his hires.

There's a word for that.

He waited too long on Brady, as well.

I don't want Mohajir fired, at all, but, to act as if his decisions can not be questioned is ridiculous.

Yeah?
I'm sorry you are incapable of anything other than binary thinking.
I'm underwhelmed by Anderson, I'd have fired his ass this year if I were AD and could raise the money but he was unfireable and will be this season too.

But **** fire man, taking a share of your division isn't a disaster and the truth of the matter is the perception of AState would have been damaged had we canned Anderson last year.

Too deep of thinking for you? That's on you but you want to call me a hypocrite or anything similar kiss my ass

Another BS strawman. NO ONE is acting like his decisions can't be questioned, I've done it myself you can't argue the matter because you want to create this fantasy land pretending the only a few have escaped the matrix.

He did a hell of a job at Marshall. They were improving fast and his leaving was a surprise.

My brother was mad about the hire until he found out Matt’s wife wasn’t giving up her practice.

The results at Marshall don’t look good to an outsider and the UCA needs the caveat of moving Division II to I and ineligible for postseason.

Having a lot of * in discussing the resume is a frustrating exercise
