Jude is quite a talent. Better than Sullivan in many respects. Problem will be his inexperience.

15 wide open 3s. Just one observation. During last home game against ODU, UAB played good defense switching from man to zone frequently.. The 1-3-1 just seemed to work so well with Maktar at the top in that game. We never saw it again.

Being this doesn’t count in my book as a postseason appearance. We literally just flushed away $50k, 4 years after Haase had to donate just as much to help pay for players cost of attendance.

For those harping on Jude, have you actually seen him in practice or is this hearsay? Dominating against our older guys wouldnt be all that impressive.

Pearson gets a pass, Missed most of his Senior season with eye injury.

We should have stayed home. That game did nothing to make me feel more optimistic about next year. In fact, it did the exact opposite. Ehsan better be ready to work his ass off over the next 12 months if he wants to maintain his current employment.

Some team named Longwood, who may be a sister school to William Carey, blows out Southern Miss. Glad us and them could do our part this week to uphold this leagues reputation of being a complete embarrassment.

He really could have used a RS year too.

UAB has a lot riding on this late signing period. Ehsan has to come through.

I hope you are proven correct, but I will believe that when I see it. They needed him on the court this year if true.

Sometimes they do. Two of our top targets over the past 2 years redshirted their freshman years at Wichita State and Memphis...

He averaged 19 points and 18 rebounds in high school. Even against bad competition, those are good numbers. Reportedly had offers from West Virginia and Baylor among others. Not to mention he has great size... something that can't be taught. Admittedly, he's supposedly a little raw. But everyone who has seen him play says he has incredible potential.

Again, I hope you are correct, but if he was less ready to play than Pearson then the development curve is very steep. And Ehsan has to know his seat is getting warm, and we are historically low on talented bigs, with an injury exacerbating the problem, so I cant imagine him leaving any bullets in the drawer for this season. If Jude were that good, I think he would have been on the floor. But i also hope Im wrong. I want him to look like Zion next year! Cheers.

It was already apparent that Sully could play. He was way ahead of Pearson (and therefore Jude) as a freshman. He wasn't red-shirted because he wasn't ready for D1 ball.

I’m not concerned about bigs next year, but I am concerned about our guard rotation. As it stands, we’re returning only one player who consistently brought the ball up the court and initiated the offense—Bryant. I’m high on TSG and Lovan, but they’re not really “bail out the offense late in the shot clock” types.

Also, we’re losing like 60% of our made threes, and we’re already dragging in three-point shooting.

Brown had 18 assists, and UAB had 6. Incredible, and yet UAB still had a chance to win this game.

Same. It continues to be apparent that Ehsan is in over his head.

Supposedly Jalen Benjamin will be a good ball handler for us, but we really need to sign a reliable shooter.
