The 2 tiers would definitely look better...but I'm sure you Appy fans will like the end product...I could not help but notice that between the new structure and the existing lower stands there is ample room for a couple of waterfalls...

We have a water feature that runs under the field.

A plan needs to be in place to add fascia to bring the rest of the stadium's appearance up to whatever we build.

You'd think that would be a pretty easy concept, but so far no AD has ever done this.

You know WDDITWAA. At least the new building has some of the same design elements of the Athletics Center. Unlike the wing on Owens which looked nothing like the building it was attached to.

Lol, what does WDDITWAA mean?

Not much progress since digging up the turn last week. Guessing next phase is to finish clearing the buildings and start demo.

From the school's own website that just launched

https://mountaineerimpact.com/end-zone-p...index.html

It looks to include the field level seats

There are a few differences in these pictures. Note the bridges attaching to the stadium are in some pictures but not in others. From what I hear these are up in the air right now.

Looks close at this picture and notice there are no lower level seats below the club seats. The website references 1,000 club seats, but doesn't say anything about the field level seats.

I saw that. With 3 pictures showing the lower section of seating I'm going to chalk that one photo up to graphic designer brain fart, as it really is only showcasing the upper seating. Also, the lower section could be a future addition once the upper section is sold out (for the 3 years mandatory purchase)

The thing that looks most-odd to me about this rendering is the a-symmetry of the vertical white columns. On the East side it's pushed back behind the outdoor club seats. On the West side it's pulled out much closer to the field.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the South Endzone Bank moved closer to the field at some point in the construction.

We Don't Do It That Way At Appalachian. Old saying that's been around from the Bob Snead (former Vice Chancellor of Development) days. I used to hear that so much I wanted to puke. Talk about a guy who loved the status quo and wanted no growth. My buddy Chuck Parker and I used it as our tag line back when we were just getting the MMB off the ground.

Does anyone else think this building is a little too far back from the playing surface? It just looks a little off to me!

Not sure if both team's locker rooms will be in this building but if visitors locker rooms are going in this building...for the love of god don't put students in the section close to visitor's locker room doors.

Believe that the visitors will use our current locker room once the new facility is complete. Will use the Quinn Center until then.

Visitors will use the locker room on the west side with all that stone work and run from the west side to the east sideline? That doesn’t seem well thought out.

Need to make the NEZ foot print big enough to house both locker rooms and just have the teams enter from either endzone corner. But whats that saying WDDITWAA?
