Some one disputed that. Mick says that’s what he believed however he had his tram handle it.

Apparently it was due Sunday night.

Congrats to jarron.

The only JR in the running and by most accounts will return next season.

Freshman/Coach/Player of the Year Announced
Is Jarron the first true JR to win player of the year ?

I believe Nic Moore was 4th year JR (transfer)
Same for Semi (transfer)

Jarron maybe the leagues first true JR to win it.

He could. But if Jarron returns it’s not going to be easy for him to win it.

I only heard it said on the coaches show. Not any where else.

Regardless mick voted for Corey Davis so it’s a moot point from his side.

I think the league appreciated how much work they had to do to stop jarron. With Davis, you can’t collapse on him because of brooks and jarreau

He was insinuating Corey should have gotten it.. he personally said it wouldn't have affected his vote, but insinuate s it would have affected others

Somebody send coach P some tissues please.

You got the league championship, that's the bigger deal anyways.

Well deserved honor for Jarron even if I'd have voted for Davis after Sunday.

Cumberland absolutely earned it based on his excellent performance over the entire season, and not just going bananas over the last several months. It's well deserved. BUT... I wouldn't want to be anywhere near Memphis side of the bracket, facing a disrespected (fair or not) Martin on his home floor.

But it seems he was wrong. If you submitted before Sunday then you didn’t read the memo correctly. I could imagine it being something mick doesn’t want to deal with during huge game prep.

Even. Then I just think other coaches know how little they had to gameplan for anyone other than jarron on UC and yet, with Corey they had multiple people they couldn’t leave open.

Add that penny only saw Corey Davis once and was able to hold him to 11 points.

Dan Hurley only saw Corey Davis once and also made him relatively ineffective.

I’m not sure. But I’d love to see how each coach voted .

My guess is that jarron won by a single vote and probably only had 5 or so.

I’d say 5 for jarron
4 for Martin
And 3 for Corey Davis

That’s if it’s true that Davis came in 3rd

Coach P reads minds. Him and Cronin are cuddle buddies. Cronin even breastfeeds him once in a while.

They are collectively one mind.

cronin said they were was told to vote by a certain time...the aac literally just said that technically the deadline was sunday but said coaches vote early ...

they never denied encouraging coaches to vote early

again this isnt the UH coach complaining about his player..its the coach of the player who won, who has no reason to lie

id bet money almost all of them voted on Saturday, so the administrative staff wouldn't have to come to work on sunday

I bet it came down to Cumberland vs Martin.

Davis is nice, but I don't think he is in the same category as Cumberland or Martin.
