I'm sure you would hope that, but I think AACT wins over Tulane, UCF/Temple and Houston might do it. It would certainly be close at that point, and not a slam dunk either way. Assuming of course, we beat Tulsa tomorrow.

I'm not telling you what I would hope would happen. I'm telling you that it's AAC Mid Major Conference Tournament or bust. Period.

I'm a neutral observer here. You're a biased homer. Sorry.

Do you think the Tigers getting to the AACTCG even puts them on the bubble?

So that would at most add 2 Q1 or Q2 wins. Tulsa at home is Q3. Tulane Neutral is Q4. So it would give you the 2 wins after that. It might get you to the bubble. But I'm not sure it's getting you on the right side of it. You would need a lot of help

Yep I agree. This year is so weird I think selection Sunday will produce violence.

All Memphis conference tournament games will be home games for NET purposes, FYI.

I think that is still TBD. Ive seen both ways posted.

If it is, that makes it worse for Memphis

Every year the AAC has been considered a neutral tournament, it will be again this year.

A neutral observer? 03-lmfao

News flash. Saying Memphis has a chance to make the NCAA if they beat Tulsa, Tulane, Temple or UCF, and Houston is NOT homerish, lol.

Hey genius. That's not what the original poster was saying. He stated "how could they leave Memphis out", implying they would be in.

A little reading comprehension goes a long ways here.

Uh huh, and maybe you need a good dose of it, since I was replying only to your comment that I'm a homer. All I posted was that it would at least get consideration, and that it wasn't a homer observation.

That has nothing to do with what the other guy posted.

It actually does because I generated a response based on his post. But keep on dragging it out.

So if the quarterfinal games go according to Hoyle, here are the semiefinals (with Friday's NET rank):

6 Houston vs. 26 UCF or @ 48 Memphis
24 Cincy vs 55 Temple or 88 Wichita St

Seems Cincy has an easier path to the finals.

Cincinnati path is ideal. Hope they take advantage. I'm sure they'll play uconn for the 5000th year in a row too.

Temple is good. By no means am I writing that off. It's just I prefer them to ucf or Memphis at Memphis.

I'm not even writing off UC's first game.

I do believe Seton Hall has a chance of making it in

In the AAC tournament? How?

With USF holding on to beat SMU that should put us at 10 teams inside the top 100. Barring a major upset, the quarterfinals will all be tier 1 or 2 games, as will each round after. The tournament will add to resumes nicely this year almost no matter what.

No, just a quick write up on a check in lol. Obviously SMU needed to win to get in.

That has never been the case before and won't be now. Over Memphis it will say Memphis not home.

St. John's will not be the home team in msg either.

The official NCAA word (which came out last week) stated the games will be considered home games for Memphis.

05-nono St John's only plays 5 games at MSG every year. Carnesecca Arena is their home court. And AAA said you can't have multiple home courts.
