Earlier today, they beat Furman 13-0, avenging last night's loss to them. Freshman Luke Drumheller had 5 (!!!) doubles to break the SBC record and tie the NCAA record.

Bobcats beat UConn 5-3 today to salvage a win in that series.

App beats MSU 9-6.

Wonder what happened to Missouri State?

We beat them 10-0 on opening weekend, I was at the game and they didn't look good at all, but I thought maybe it was just a bad day. They were ranked in some polls in the preseason after all.

But they're 3-10 now! Obviously not a very good team at this point.

Can’t hit, and have no bullpen to speak of. They have been holding firm to a Saturday starter who has terrible numbers the 2nd time through the lineup and a “closer” with terrific numbers a 2nd time through. It defies logic

App got both Players of the Week in Baseball and Softball.

APP loses 5-4 to Wake, made nice comeback to tie 4-4 but late run did us in. Watched the game, team is playing much better than last yr, but still need to learn how to win the close games, a lot of freshman playing significant minutes, things definitely moving in the right direction.

AState threw a bunch of Freshman against an SEC team today in an effort to rest everyone for Troy this weekend. We scored first, but the offense decided to take the day off after they responded with 8 immediately thereafter.

16-1 Final against Mizzou. We'll try another Freshman day tomorrow against them and see what happens.
