the stadium has a roof which is closed but it is open air

so it is 36 on the field but because of the roof being closed its not windy

App is playing in the First Pitch invitational this weekend with games against Western Carolina, Furman, and Michigan State.

Mich St was decent team

they played in Conway a few weekends ago- they were playing something like first 24 games on the road

they are even "hosting " a series in Greenville

A-State hosts Missouri State for 3 with game times that will surely change because that's just how things go in March in Jonesboro. The Bears aren't great right now (3-7), but they've dominated this series. 9-2 against the Red Wolves since 2012.

Given that series load, it shouldn't be that hard a goal.

Full Props to Coastal for going to Seattle and not just taking the P5 lazy route and hosting their own tournament though...

AState beat Missouri State by 4,328 runs.

Okay, the final was actually 14-2, but we played that well.

Jags beat Sacred Heart 16-1 and 12-2 today. Game three is tomorrow.

The league went 9-3 today. Losers are Coastal, Texas State, and ULM.

Coastal bullpen implodes in the 8th for 6 runs, blowing a 5-2 lead over San Diego. Th game was called after that inning due to pre-ordained tournament time limit rules (3.5 hr max per game, no new innings can start after limit). So basically a walkoff for San Diego.

Jags sweep Sacred Heart. 16-1, 12-2, 11-2. We have a big game against Auburn Tuesday night, should be a nice crowd.

We’ll also host a Sun Belt tournament game in basketball at the same time. I want to be at both!

In the most non shocking news ever, it rained in Jonesboro today. AState and Missouri State will play two tomorrow. Our 3rd doubleheader in less than 2 weeks...not exactly ideal with league play starting on Friday.
