We’re clearly not going to be buds, sorry to disappoint you.

They have plenty of both.

Before we disown him, we should find out Which “UNC” does this guy root for? There’s like, 9 of them in North Carolina alone (one of which should have its accreditation revoked) and one in Colorado.

Which one does he support financially?

Doggy, there is great young alumni program within the Yosef Club and hope you consider giving back to help support ASU athletics:

I’m continuously amazed at the small minority of our fans that support Said other school after understanding the real and negative affect it has on the growth of our institution.

Anyone who is going to reply that their support is only for athletics, and has no bearing on State politics, please save yourself and others time, and refrain from doing so.

Instead your time would be better spent reading up on propaganda techniques, and the influence of athletics on politics.

I know that feel, bro.

If there is one thing in the universe that App and Georgia Southern fans can be on the same side about, it’s this.

The Halloween game has been announced as Black Thursday (normally Black Saturday) against GaSo. That will be a fantastic environment. See y'all there.

Unlike GS, UNCC isn’t worthy of giving them any kind of game theme, hell, I just hope we have a sellout.

GSU prez: ULM moved GSU game without our agreement
Most ULM fans were pissed about that Thursday game as well. It is now back to Saturday.

As for the Grambling Prez…..Fobbs and the AD were both on board with the change, had a verbal agreement and were working the paperwork. They "forgot" to tell the President. I can neither confirm nor deny that they started working us for some extra money for the move.

If the weather is good for UNCC there will be 25k at least. For a GaSo Halloween game it will be he highest attended game, regardless of location, for GSvsApp Thursday game yet.

Oh I’m not denying there’s some influence. I challenge you to find me a state where the flagship university has no influence over matters like these. What’s ridiculous to me is how you and others think university officials have some evil plot to destroy App or something. I guess as WillRob said, believing that is a way to rationalize your hate for UNC. Haters gotta hate I suppose.

Also funny how you have it out for a school who may have some influence, yet you just ignore the point that the people actually making these decisions are pawns of the GA.

The people making the decisions about academic programs, several budget issues, research/regional designations etc are the (mostly) Carolina grads on the BOG, not the GA. We can’t even choose our own chancellor and neither does the General Assembly. The BOG does. App gets one of the lowest in per-student funding among all 17 UNCS Schools while UNC gets the most, even though the two schools are roughly the same size in terms of undergraduate class size. Carolina spent millions covering up their fraud while we starve and you still wear blue.

You’re an Uncle Tom.

If the weather is good for the Charlotte game, the attendance is likely to be huge. Charlotte will beat up Gardner Webb (easy FCS game) and their fan base will remain delusionally optimistic, so they are likely to be well represented in Boone. I would say that 25K is a conservative estimate.

Ken Peacock, we need you out of retirement to lead us in revolt!

I hope some enterprising young lawyer (ahem) eventually brings a class action lawsuit against UNC for defrauding the Athletes of an education.

You know UNC (the school) doesn't set the budget, right? The budget is set by the Board of Governors. The Board of Governors are appointed by the General Assembly. The GA is who you should be upset with. They have continually cut funding to the UNC system and stock the Board with some pretty questionable people...

ok, back to App football talk that actually matters ...

Our away tickets are now on sale, so I assume the same for UNCC. Any word as far as how their sales are going with the App game??? Would love a large 49er turnout to make the game that much sweeter.
