Also, we are pretty much cheering against UTSA and USM over the next 2-3 games, right?

Mak will replace what Lew brings easily.

I’m excited about Jude. He has become a beast and dominates in practice.

No, we shouldn't burn a year of Jude's eligibility because he is now showing that he can be a dominant force in the half court, as we are down to the last 3 games of the regular season.

He wasn’t ready when he first got here. His progress has been very encouraging.

Just think how bad this season would have been if Louis had not been redshirted.

RE: WKU game
For me the problem isn't that Jude red-shirted, it's that we signed two projects inside when we needed another game-ready post. It could work out long-term but that doesn't help us this season.

We still need another post that is ready to contribute from day one. We still need a consistent wing shooter. To paraphrase a recent post on BT: "If we don't fill our recruiting needs, it won't matter what kind of job Ehsan does from the sideline." I'm not saying we can't be pretty good with the core we should return but if we want to move beyond that, we need to add a couple of important pieces. We need better perimeter shooting and more physical inside play if we want to start winning OOC games and head to the top of the CUSA standings.

I still believe that Butler can be a dominant player if healthy and gets the right coaching to work on his game.

Butler was just getting accustomed to D1 ball when he got hurt too. Def a good player but the knee is a worry. He got hurt in January so I wonder if he could get this year back? With a couple of young bigs that need time to develop and Butler on the mend, this would be a great time to pick up a 5th year transfer inside.

RE: WKU game
What we'll miss most from Lewis is ball handling and a decent outside shot. Makhtar has trouble dribbling as well as catching passes, but his longer shots have started to fall later in the season.

Mak seems to get frustrated too easily too...

AN EXTRA 20-25 LBS WOULD HELP A LOT...
