Away games all year and refund season ticket holders would be my best guess at worst case scenario. They wouldn't agree to this schedule if they found it impossible. I imagine liquidated damages are very high.

RE: Conference USA Facilities
Not necessarily a facility but UTSA is making a big push to have a modern and large downtown campus. We are building tons of new large buildings for the city such as Frost Bank, Towering Hotels, Condos, large multi business buildings that will change our skyline to a much more modern look. A long with numerous dorms, the college of business, national security center, school of data sciences, etc.

More renderings will slowly be coming out over the next few months, the push for are capital campaign for athletics will Start soon & we should see plans on those as well but they are definitely going for a modern look. Here's our first rendering.

Construction is supposed to be finished in mid July if everything goes according to schedule and like someone already said we are a week or 2 ahead of schedule. First game is August 31 so that's a month and a half cushion before the first game. 1st game is against cross town fcs Norfolk state so I'm sure we wouldn't play there. Worst comes to worst we postone or play at the va beach sports plex which has a permanat seating of 6k but can be expanded with temp seating up to 17k(according to google). If it can't expand that high then I'm sure we would postpone.

OK. I left myself wide open for that. But our IPF is making visual progress.

RE: Conference USA Facilities
Here are the first renderings of the future Marshall University baseball stadium. The stadium will be on campus right next to our IPF and Hall-of-Fame. Our AD and the Mayor of Huntington are saying that this will be constructed to be the best baseball stadium in the state of WV.

[Image: 5c6f2b8b050b8.image.jpg?resize=1200%2C675]

There are a few more renderings from here... https://twitter.com/AECOMSports/status/1...3D103840.0

Currently, the Herd splits their home games between a few different locations.

1. Appalachian Power Park in Charleston, WV (around 45 mins from campus)

2. Kennedy Center YMCA field (around 10 mins from campus)
* I do not think it meets C-USA requirements

3. A few games over the past few years have been played at Epling Stadium in Beckley, WV (around 2 1/2 hours from campus)

Mike Hill has some good stuff cooking for the Charlotte 49ers athletic department. We have hired HOK to develop a facilities master plan. We also are in the middle of raising 49 million dollars to help with those upgrades that have been identified. Definitely love seeing the conference to continue to improve!
