Great schedule for GS. For the first time since we moved up, we have all Saturday home games, no horrible stretches of travel, no stacked schedule of september home games and then no home games again until November. Awesome. Thanks Sun Belt. :)

Another positive of our schedule is that none of our conference opponents have a bye week before facing us. It especially sucks for the Cajuns because they have a long roadtrip to Ohio during our bye week and then have to turn around and make a trip to Coastal Georgia to face us.

In the past, that would be a bus trip to Georgia thank god we fly to everywhere but Monroe now

Looks like we're both catching each other on a quick turnaround facing the Louisiana schools. Will be tough for sure.

Sucks more for us because of your triple option. Lol

They are on Wednesday's this year. App at UL and South at Troy

October 12th is going to be the most boring Saturday in SBC History. Only one game that day for a league opponent. Primarily because there are Wednesday and Thursday games scheduled before and after it.

Not to mention Troy and GS have byes that week so two of the conferences top 4 teams. StAte isn't playing that week either. Very dull week. All eyes on the conference championship rematch midweek.

Honestly, only having 7 week night games is worth the media deal. $1mil per school, every conference game not on ESPN1/2/U is on ESPN+ so no guess work.

Not going to gripe about only one mid week game. We need more wins but....

RE: 2019 Football Schedules
Best part about our schedule is that it maximizes our chances at getting a P5 win against Carolina and/or South Carolina.

Instead of facing a P5 for our first game of the year, we get two warm up games AND a bye before facing UNC in week 4. Then we get GS at home on Thursday night the week before facing South Carolina. Gives us a couple more days of preparation for that game.

RE: 2019 Football Schedules
I think our chances versus NC go down playing them in the 4th week versus week 1.

There is talent on that team and they'll have 10 days to prepare as well.

Plus any suspensions they suffer in the offseason will be lifted by game 3.
