Jerry Kill on PJ
Coach Kill went all in on Fleck on SiriusXM college sports today. Sorry can’t post the link but the audio is on Twitter. @SXMcollege.

He didn’t hold back.

Any coach that craps on the accomplishments of Joe Novak and everything he did for NIU will always be low in my book. Kill wouldnt even have had a chance at that job if not for Coach Novak

When? Please source these comments. As usual I call bs. Kill has come back for a major event and even donated to niu. Never said a bad thing that I know of. He has publicly voiced regret over how his move to Minnesota was handled. Now that Carey is gone I assume you will have to find other bs to spread.

Supposedly Kill said something like he rebuilt the program from nothing. Not exactly true — Novak's last year was hampered by injury, not lack of talent. Kill did an excellent job building up the program, but it hadn't bottomed out.

Jerry Kill was self-serving also.....departed NIU in the dark of night, after losing the MACC.

It was pretty shady if i recall correctly.

Yeah, the stuff about caring about players rings a little hollow because of that, but his comments were still pretty spot on.

Exactly this also. Just odd to hear Kill calling someone else out as self serving

These two can duke it out, but neither has anything on the legend of class that was Rod Carey. Rod Carey left a champion AND put the players first with a team meeting.

And he brought players together with team meetings to discuss how to deal with him haha. And actually he left with another in a long string of bowl losses, and left talent cupboard bare offensively. An offense that was near bottom of FBS Offenses. That dysfunction is in the past, lets look FORWARD

I'm not here for another Carey debate with you, MD, but it's actually not that hard to put Carey above Kill and Fleck from a 'what have they done for NIU' coaching perspective..
