RE: Edit: TOEWS R.O.W for FOURTH Time
Right now, we simply have too many guards based on the traditional lineup McGrath plays.

Toews, Gadsden, Sims, Estime, Taylor and Fornes for 3 positions. Starters should play 30 minutes plus, so with 3 guards on the bench they would each get about 10 minutes if evenly distributed. But, PT won't be evenly distributed.

Toews WILL start next year. Gadsden WILL start next year.

Sims, Fornes and Estime' will battle to start at the 3. Taylor will have to accept a backup role if he wants to stay, and Fornes probably will as well. I just don't see that happening unless they have no interest in playing beyond college.

My feeling is that Fornes and Taylor will move on. Taylor is my only question since has already transferred once.

So, it will likely come down to Estime or Sims starting at the 3. Based on play right now, Sims will start at the 3, especially since we will not have much size at the 4-5 spot next year. If that happens, Estime will come off the bench at the 2-3 spots. Will he accept that or choose to move on as well? I would hate to see Estime' leave because I think he is a really solid player.

Estime was a very solid get for coach last year especially considering how late in the game it was!

That along with his numerous ROW should get it done, but I agree that he's not a lock just yet. Wynter and Audige are both great players and have their numbers. I'm just not sure that either have NCAA-wide, national impact numbers like Toews does.

I agree it is not a lock yet but Toews is definitely leading. It has been an exceptionally good year for the freshman in the CAA. If they all stick around the CAA is looking to be going the right direction more collectively.

Wynter won his 5th ROW last week. The race is still tight with Wynter and Toews leading the way.

interesting, when i look at sheer numbers, Toews line is more impressive. Then add to the fact that H2H he's also got the edge. Game one Towes had way better game, game 2, they both stunk up the joint and Wynter slightly better

I know many Drexel fans feel Cam is in the lead, but I agree the Toews still leads. Both have been ridiculously impactful on their teams. As you all know numbers and impact a player has do not always show up in box scores. Toews passing numbers for me are just too much to overlook, despite how good of a court general Wynter has been as well. Wynter is a much more of a do it all player than Toews. Hard to look at the numbers and not think its a super tight race

Wynter: 10.8 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 5.2 apg, 1.3 spg, 2.4 TO on 43% shooting, 35% 3pt%

Toews: 8.9 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 7.9 apg, 0.5 spg, 3.4 TO on 40.9% shooting, 27% 3pt%

Audige: 10.0 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.5 spg, 2.0 TO on 46.6% shooting, 37.6 3pt%
