RE: German Suspended
I guess MM wants his job more than suspending German for a couple of games.

Wow. I thought WMU would have a great shot to win this game but not this easily. NiUs offensive metrics have come back to where they normally are, and combine that with a very poor defense, not pretty.

RE: German Suspended
I suppose it's a good thing German is playing. We might be losing by 25 if he wasn't.

German has 11 points and the next highest is 3 guys with 4...

I simply cannot figure out what is wrong with Bradley.

I'm not the typical black clouds guy here, but this is pretty bad. Add to that WMU shooting lights out and NIU not being able to deal with Dugan at all.

I'm not sure what they're going to do in the 2nd half.

It is time for SF to look over that file and start calling around. Big win for WMU.

RE: German Suspended
MM done. “Suspension” was a joke. Maybe Geno didn’t do a damn thing at all?

Pack a bag Monty. This team is either mentally weak, lacking talent or just given up on the “leader”.

Pathetic

German should park his car in MM's driveway. One problem solved for the next month.

RE: German Suspended
I am disappointed in Sean Frasier's decision to allow German to play this evening. Failing to enforce a reasonable standard of behavior can lead to rot that can spread accross programs. Under previous ADs we had higher standards and more school pride.

I don’t think this is true. Please provide some examples where previous ADs held higher standards? In previous regimes this might not have seen the light of day. There is transparency now so you see the negatives. Previous problems didn’t get any press and weren’t made public.

People act like German shot somebody lol. I think he has acted selfishly but I think people are getting carried away here. I do agree with the comments about the team being mentally weak, and they are physically weak. I do also think they have given up on Montgomery and the team. There are too many dead weight players also. Whoever the new coach is , guard recruiting is the NUMBER ONE priority.

MD---it's not like people are getting carried away with the Geno thing here at all. The fact that the suspension was one game plus about three minutes is a joke. No, he didn't shoot anybody, but, at least of public knowledge this is FOUR arrests/court appearances/violations in this season's calendar.

Come on, the coaches know he is leaving (heck, they probably know they are leaving).

Enough is enough.

Kind.of falls on deaf ears though when those same peope give Frazier a pass. He has neglected his duties as AD at NIU and let's situations deteriorate both in football and basketball. If anyone needs to be shown the door first it is him. He has free reign though, he is not accountable to anyone

And here is the post derailing another thread with the Frazier BS.

Football has not deteriorated, the won the MAC. Basketball, I agree, next year we will be the worst team in the MAC. MD don't lump football into this argument.

I don't know that petty dumbassery, even repeated petty dumbassery, warrants more than a brief suspension, and definitely not worth anything drastic like ending someone's season over.

NIU had been humiliated 6 straight years on a national level in football and Hammock is being left a true mess with little talent. Not saying bowl games are critical but it was embarassing to see NIU not looking FBS level against quality teams. The annual butchery of the QB position is something I cant imagine many ADs would let go that long. I think Hammock can turn things around but it will take some time

I would agree with you if it was one incident and maybe even two incidents but this is a disturbing pattern of behavior. At a minimum the suspensions should have been progressively longer with each incident.
