BTW, Junior is being criticized for his opening comments at the rally (when among other things he complained to young conservatives about loser teachers 'that are trying to sell you on socialism from birth.')

There goes another demographic group from potential voters for dad in 2020.

Demographic group?

You mean young socialists? Don’t think they were in the capitalist American camp in the first place.

Not all is lost, they too will grow up at some point.

Well Trump's big rally did the trick. Congress agreed to a bi-partisan deal on border security late last night, allocating 1.57 billion for increased barriers along the Rio Grande. Congrats. It's nice to see we're going to avoid a 2nd shutdown.

you really think he's a gimme to sign that....ummmmmmmkay

you left out another detail...

reduced funding for 'beds' in place...that's a bigee in the 'release category'....

what the hell is wrong with dems that just can't state ALL facts....

from catch and release to promoting illegal ALIEN infiltration to green pasteurization to infanticide.....

EWE GUYS GOT 'EEET' GOING ON

I say sign it AND declare the emergency to build the FENCE to keep out drugs and to increase the number of ICE beds and agents and watch the Dems flip out in real time.

I agree bigly.

03-thumbsup

unfortunately, I don't see that happening....

friday will be an interesting one....

Catch and release is the problem.

If they don't declare asylum, why can't we just immediately take them back across the border?

the wall isn't my #1 peeve.....it's easily catch and release....

those laws HAVE to change yesterday...

however, since neither side really gives two shites, the importance of MORE wall is giving those on the ground with a better tool to funnel the herd beforehand....

it's a simple concept....

thats OUR congress....

#henceDJT

This can't be stated strongly enough. Increased security at points of entry is fine but inevitably it will cause many of those seeking entrance to utilize less protected border areas. A wall stops that and forces potential illegals to seek other riskier means of entry.

You just lost any shred of credibility that you may have had after that comment. MSNBC and the words "news" and "reality" should never be used in the same sentence. 07-coffee3

He lost it before this.

Take it, build the 55+- miles, come back in xxx months and build the next 55 miles lather, rinse, repeat.

It’s not as if they can knock out 100 miles a week or something. It’s gotta be done in stages, no problem it be funded in stages. Wish the Feds would do a LOT of other things that way... save a lotta coin.

A reasonable post.

Another point to consider is if there is another shutdown, I don't think the workers who are effected are going to be as patient this time around. I'm hearing grumblings already that some of them (TSA workers, Air Traffic Controllers) may go on strike.

How'd that work out for them the last time they tried that communist union crap?

His popularity has plummeted since that day, by the way. Considering the poll was of NY'ers, you will likely see dems try to side-step this and change the argument, cause they realize this is a losing proposition, and one that could be an anvil around their candidates neck if the media were to grow a set of balls and press them on it.
