Very big game. A tough opponent but also an opportunity to re-take the momentum. ODU has one of the better CUSA front-courts so big challenge for Sully and Mak. Got to stay out of foul trouble.

I'd like to see more PSG this game.

Stith played his freshman year at Virginia, and this is his third season at Old Dominion.

Old Dominion has won the last two games against UAB, including an 83-62 thrashing at The Bart two seasons ago.

I’m excited about these next two. Very winnable and matchups with old rivals. Need to sweep these two and split on the road. Hope Lovan can play. Not having him and butler cost us the last two. We still could have won them without them. One more rebound. One more free throw. One less missed shot. Not happy with our record but I am with the progress of the guys playing. My biggest disappointment is last of development of the guys not playing. I have no problem red shirting Jude he can really help next season.

Crazy league this year. Anyone can win in any given night. This year the tourney is wide open. We have to be in the top pod for a chance. We might can pull off three wins but I don’t see four with our depth issues. Three might be a stretch.

It won't happen but we sure could use yearly H&H series in basketball and football with our old rivals/conference mates in the East. Part of UAB's problem with CUSA 3.0 is we don't get the most that we could out of this version. Not that we decided any of that.

Lovan is testing a padded glove like thing for his hand to see if it makes it any more comfortable and is a game time decision tonight.

While on the surface it would be nice but reality says it won't do much for attendance. I could do a whole article on perceived attendance and harsh realities and all you have to do is scroll through our media guide and look at what we have really drawn over the years. But let's not get into what we could or should do and the past. Let's stay on track and focus this thread on the game and not get into personal attacks, coach bashing, or sunshine pumping if that's possible. Be critical and be happy or mad but let's not cross the line like has happened in the past. We are one less poster and not opposed to lopping more heads off.

Not directed at anyone but just a statement in general.

Playing really well defensively. If we have decent shooting night, we're gonna win this game.

Frustrating final possession, but good half overall. I pray we don’t have to re-live the MTSU game in the second half.

Need make sure we don't shoot too quick and get Sullivan plenty of touches in the Second. Block out cuz they crash the boards hard.
