Players I’m excited to see......
Guys I’m looking forward to seeing stand out from the new guys:

1. Erick Doke - RB (big bruising runner)
2. Amir Brummett - WR
3. Jyran Mitchell- WR
4. Justin Hall- DB/RB (Athlete)
5. Tyrice Richie- WR (Should compliment Tears)
6. Jiya Wright - QB ( Please be better than Childers)

I think Michael Love will be a great slot receiver/APB for years to come.

He is listed at 6'1" 227 so that is good size for LB in our set up. He could be the next Sutton Smith

The best part is everyone starts fresh. Hammock does not know the players and will be objective for the first few weeks.

Hope Davis putts some more ass in his pants, because he's tiny. Any chance, if he's athletic enough, they make him a receiver?

looking forward to seeing what Fabian McCray can do. Wouldn’t be surprised if he plays as a true freshman

Tyrice Richie, he had to go the JUCO route and proved himself. He'll be in the two deeps right away.

Yup.

He looks all of 6'2 going both ways here.If he's only 175 here, that's a solid 175. Nice to see a de-commit from UI come to NIU. 02-13-banana

I’m guessing Richie and Mcray both see action. Especially Richie. I think Tucker is going to be the odd man out. WR has gone from weakness to potential strength quickly.

Do you think they’re only going to play 3-4 WRs all season? Tears and Tucker are the only 2 WRs with any kind of production and experience. I have no doubt the newcomers are going to play plenty, but Tucker will as well.

Tears is a lock. I think Robinson offers too much to not be on the field all the time. He and tucker have about the same experience. Richie should be ready to play game 1. I’m guessing tucker gets eased out of playing time with each passing game as Richie produces. By odd man out I just mean he’s the guy who’s going to loose playing time the most and may eventually find himself on the bench by years end.

There should be great competition at wideout, which is fantastic, but I believe Tucker can hold his own. It will be great if Robinson takes the next step.

Hey maybe I’m wrong, but short of being really tall, I’m not sure what you’ve seen out of Robinson that tells you “he offers too much to not be ok the field.” Here’s to hoping you’re right.

I think we will see Fotis get some time at WR too. With the younger talent we have coming in, I think we will be OK at the WR position.

Robinson is a great red zone target but he and Tucker don’t get much separation. Tucker has great hands, but I haven’t seen much after that. There’s going to be some competition at WR this year. I’m hoping somebody like Michael Love will emerge and start taking punt returns.
