Does it upset you that you get zero coverage in Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio now? You already had Houston.

Umm not sure which paper or TV stations you watch but living here in Dallas it hasn’t missed a beat. But maybe if we do like SMU and put up a bunch of billboards begging Dallas to notice and pay attention to us...

We get more attention than you and that’s really sad. Like, really sad.

Lol

Sure you do buddy

Sure you do

Pony, you need to clarify if you are referencing a t-shirt SEC fan or student from the "L10"?

I hope Chris Beard is ready for Kansas.

Texas just beat Kansas in Austin. Self will be paying officials to make sure he doesn't lose to Texas Tech on Saturday.

RE: Big 12/SEC Challenge
The acc could do a big 10 and sec challenge. The sugar bowl deal the sec gave the big 12 is dumb. Only explanation is the sec wanted to weaken the acc so they could raid it. Really, The only reason the big 12 exists is to prevent the other P5 leagues from getting certain pieces, ie Texas

This is more true than you know.

The whole reason ESPN allowed the LHN was to derail the PAC16 deal and keep Fox from getting the red meat still left in the B12 (A&M was never going to join the PAC) of UT, OU and KU and controlling major college sports west of I-35

Your user name says you are both a PAC and SEC fan and yet you didn't attend a PAC or SEC school. In fact you're too embarrassed to say in any part of your public profile you're a Tech fan

But please, continue to explain how you somehow have the moral high ground here

IIRC, Kansas was headed to the Big East when the Texoma 4 rumors to the PAC were happening. Not sure how they are viewed as "red meat"??

I'm a Tech alumnus and wouldn't mind seeing my alma mater in either the PAC 12 or SEC if the Big 12 fails. I'm proud of the school I graduated from and proud I don't have to wear a t-shirt to act big. Calling the Big 12 the "L10" is childish considering you attend TCU.

Got it??

The Big 12 is also doing a series with the Big East starting next year.

I'm not sorry the Big 12 couldn't find 4 G5 schools so the SEC/Big 12 challenge could be played 14 on 14.

SEC fans would complain they had to play a jr varsity call up in place of a true Big 12 school.

Dumb is thinking that getting $40 million for a bowl game is dumb.
ACC's deal is $27 million.

The reason the Big 12 exists is because it makes sense.

The ACC as it currently exists doesn't make sense. The Big 10 and SEC made more sense as 12 team conferences.

1) So you’re sure enough the L10 will fail that you make your user name into the conferences you wish Tech was in instead but then you cry about me not respecting said conference enough?

2) Hey way to finally own up that you ARE a tech fan in your public profile! Making changes just because I told you to! Good job!

Reading comprehension buddy. I wrote IF the Big 12 fails. Unlike you, I don't openly root for the Big 12 to fail while representing TCU.

Don't pat yourself on the back. Since Day 1, I have supported my University on this board.

It's a shame when two guys trolling each other have a cat fight! I'm not exactly sure what to make out of that.

The Big 12/SEC challenge did meet a need for SEC RPI but that was prior to the emphasis on scheduling premium games in December. Now it's good for ESPN gets both conferences a bit more exposure and TV money, but the reason it was created is now moot.

It still provides a nice RPI (or NET) boost to both conferences, plus it is a fun series to watch and a good measuring stick.

It's a normal Red Raider/Aggie rivalry. The Aggie will claim we aren't rivals but they can't stand us and have no desire to see us join the SEC.04-bow

All in good fun.

Back on topic. I like the Big 12/SEC challenge. We get to play schools we normally don't play OOC.
