Meh. That’s basketball and especially in this league. We’ve had our fair share of useless runs at the end of games too.

Sure but that’s the killer instinct this team is missing. Nice answers by Kai

Jesus, we are really trying to give this away. 17 with 5 minutes, now a two possession game under 10 seconds with a turnover

You knew exactly where they were going yet, STILL Couldnt stop it. These last 3 mins are really over shadowing what was largely a pretty solid game

Lol how is it over reacting? You go to sleep like that against a good team the game is toast. We have to learn how to finish. We went from playing to win to playing not to lose

Not interested in a whiny argument after a good win.

Enjoy the W. Go Seahawks!!

RE: W&M (Thursday, Jan 24 - 7 PM)
We do need to close better and that starts at the defensive end.

A few thoughts:

Cacok played terrific.
Toews played well tonight for the most part.
Gadsden is awesome and really plays some good defense. He needs more shots.
Cylla is not afraid to take a big shot.
Taylor took a step forward again with his play tonight.
Hawks played pretty decent defense for a stretch, but gave up too many looks late.
Hawks need to continue to get better.

RE: W&M (Thursday, Jan 24 - 7 PM)
Cacok tied his career-high with 5 steals. He's had at least 3 steals 6 times, and 4 were against William & Mary, including his last 3 games against William & Mary. He had 5 steals hosting W&M on January 12, 2017; 4 steals hosting Elon on January 2, 2017; 4 steals at W&M on February 22, 2018; 3 steals hosting W&M on January 27, 2018; and 3 steals hosting Stanford on November 9, 2018. He had at least 3 steals in 4 of 8 games against W&M (including 1 in the 2017 CAA Tournament), and at least 3 steals in 2 of 109 games against everybody else.

Cacok and Toews made my Lineup of the Day in the General forum. If I did a Lineup of the Day 100 more times I don't know if I would have another lineup that included teammates both of whom did not attempt a three. Cacok is tied with Wright-Foreman for the most times on my Lineup of the Day with 4. Today was the second time I honored one of your players other than Cacok, as I honored Gadsden once.
