ODU has made a mess of the student section by not being innovative until the DJ came around. They have a long way to go to fix things and just keeping around one dance that pumps up some 8 year olds isnt going to cut it.
No offense meant, but your opinion holds 0 value on this subject since you haven't been to a basketball game in 2 years. You actually have no idea what you are talking about.

You mean the 5 people that said they dont personally do it or they are not fan but fine if it stays around.
Its a tradition that sticks around because its the only thing ODU can claim, they dont do anything new or fresh. They just stick to one thing and its gotten old. Clearly its not getting enough students involved, students are board at the games. The game play doesn't help sometimes but ODU has not ingrained the correct message in the students.
Show up, bring energy and be Loud and Proud is what ODU should be telling the students. On TV I see shots of the students and half are on their phones and only a few are wearing ODU gear/colors. I dont understand how ODU doesnt see this as a problem. Then again even if they do, they arent going to do anything about it.
In other words, it has gotten old for you and you would like it to go away. Many others would like it to stay.
On TV, you get no sense of how it goes over inside the arena.

I mean I do live in Charlotte so there is that issue. Enlighten me on how I dont know what I am talking about? I literally watch every game on TV and have seen the participation. Which is not much at all, nothing has changed and it hit rock bottom before the DJ. Student section is still and energy-less joke. You dont have to be there to see that most fans are sitting down 95% percent of the time.
The La tech game in which there were no announcers was so embarrassing not just because of the technical issues but because there were 6000 people there and you would never know it.
Stop trying to cover up real issues by holding on to some dumb dance that no one really cares about.
I find it interesting that you are decrying the lack of ODU traditions while trying to tear down one of the more longstanding traditions the school has. Why does this one dance have to go before anything else?

If you read I said I am fine with it if it is part of a group, by itself it doesn't reflect well on ODU.

Doesn't reflect well on ODU? What? Explain.
That we literally have one in game tradition, a dance about Ice cream and Cake. I really dont need to say anything else.

Because you claim some random percentage of fans engage in it, and myself as well as others have told you that you are wrong, yet you keep pushing. You think you can tell what's going on in the stands when watching on TV vs being there in the building? Cmon man... You are trying to change something that has literally no affect on you at all. Kind of pathetic at this point.
Not to mention, IC&C is not a cover up to real issues! The student section has nothing to do with it. And just because you don't care about it, doesn't mean NOBODY cares about it. Another pathetic point.

Yup looks like a great tradition here with 2 kids in each section participating! I guess my percentage was too high lol.
But since you cant grasp my point. Im acutally not arguing to get rid if it. ODU just needs to have more than just IC&C.

You just said earlier today "I think its time to move one from this one." What else is that supposed to mean? Yeah, no wonder nobody can grasp what you are saying, you don't even know what you are saying either apparently.
And your video is from 2011! LOL

A guy I used to work with's mother and brother are big ODU fans. He actually had the DJ play IC&C at his wedding reception. I've been trying to find an IC&C ringtone for my phone for years.
