Do we cruise to a 20 point win tonight? Or is it another close game like UNF? UNA has surprised during the early conference schedule.

Am I alone in thinking the A-Sun needs both LUs, NJIT and probably UNF to win out the rest of the season, just so the conference looks good?

I agree. Then teams around .500 need to get the easy ones.

I’m not taking y’all lightly because you’ve proven solid in conference play but we should handle the game. The one at your place would be a little more tight but we “shouldn’t” lose at home.

UNA has been surging in conference play. Kudos to them for peaking when it matters. That said, we should win.

I was hoping we’d break 3,000.

Next Tuesday, can we get 7,000?

7k is a stretch but I expect 4-5k. If it was on the weekend I bet it would be almost sold out but a week night is hard to ask the fan base for.

RE: 2018-19 Basketball Seasons
Our current rankings:

NCAA NET Rankings: 49th (second in the conference behind Lipscomb at 45)
KenPom: 53rd (second behind Lipscomb at 50)
ESPN's BPI: 50th (first ahead of Lipscomb at 55)

If I had to guess, we'd make the NIT if we don't win the auto bid to the NCAA tournament. ESPN has Lipscomb in the tournament as the conference winner and with a 12-seed.

Had we knocked off Alabama and/or Vandy would we be in line for an at large NCAA bid?
Yep, that Austin Peay loss is a real head scratcher even though they are leading the OVC.

For an at large bid I think we would have to be 20-1 with the loss coming to either Bama or Georgetown.

RE: 2018-19 Basketball Seasons
Austin Peay looks less bad now than it did at the time. That would be the loss I would take back if I could but it's tough to determine because occasionally the committee does like to reward big wins more than punish bad losses.

RE: 2018-19 Basketball Seasons
Big game today, on the road, against a team struggling to be relevant, just before our big game against Lipscomb. It could be a tough matchup if our fellas aren’t mentally prepared. We’ve started slowly the last few games.

RE: 2018-19 Basketball Seasons
That went about the way I expected. Jacksonville played a tough competitive game. Liberty had to play with composure and equal toughness. I think that was a good game and good win.

Now for the BIG one on Tuesday night.

Hey! How exciting is it to be 18-4!!!
