It’s really hard to not like Blake.

It makes me root for Ark State whenever they aren’t playing the Chanticleers.

If this were me I wouldn’t be able to coach a single game. I don’t know how he does it.

Same here. I wouldn't have blamed him at all for taking a leave of absence. I admire him for trying to hold everything together.

Thankfully, we are in the offseason now, and he can spend the time he needs to with his family. I know we've got a lot of new coaches, but he needs to delegate everything to them for the time being.

I can't imagine what Coach is going through. Having your 48 year old wife dieing of cancer which has now spread to her brain, lymph nodes, and across her entire body is heartbreaking. Prayers to Wendy, Coach, and the whole family.

Hate that for her and the family. My dad is on the tail end of treatment for very early stage prostate cancer and even that was a struggle. Can't imagine what they're going through.

If I were guessing (which is a questionable activity at this time I suppose), he will coach 2019 and see how he handles it.

Grief is individual and unpredictable.
He may barely function and coaching may be a burden or it might be the rock he clings to give him a reason to get up each day.

I hate reading about this kind of thing. Prayers for the entire Anderson family.

Terrible news. He needs to take a leave of absence (see Joe Moglia) or just put football on hold altogether until further notice. Can't imagine what the family is going through.

That's the worst, none of this other stuff matters once something like this happens.

He tweeted this morning that they're going to do surgery to relieve some of the pressure on the brain from the largest of the 5 tumors the see in the brain scan. Then she's back to ICU for more meds.

God. I can't imagine. Lord help him.

I really wish we would put money towards finding a cure for cancer and such than 5 billion dollars to divide us.
