Does Monopoly have a monopoly on the Monopoly game?

It's a Clemson-Alabama monopoly. That's what everyone's sick of.

And... It's gong to be Clemson-Alabama again next year.

Why don't one of you all get your sh** together and do something about this.

From one fan:
With The SEC deal with ESPN and upcoming deal with the ACC along... This controls recruiting and gives the SEC and then the ACC an unfair advantage in recruiting.

COMING SOON: A proposed rule change sponsored by the Big Ten:
"50% of all scholarship football players must come from states which do not border on either the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico"

This will mean that Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas are ok (as well as Missouri), but Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, the Carolinas, Virginia -- all OFF limits! (We'll need to get a ruling on Pennsylvania).

Hey, haven't you heard? We are a two team conference. Guess you're stuck with a couple more years of Clemson until FSU gets it's act together.

Cheers,

I'm not sick of Clemson-Alabama at all. I think it is a great story and is great for college football.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, I would say that you are in the vast minority nationwide.

There are 24 to 28 opportunities next season for a team or teams to ensure this rematch doesn't happen again in the national championship game. Two schools, Texas A&M and UofSC, get two chances each to try to stop it during the regular season.

If fans don’t like Alabama and Clemson playing for all the marbles every season, they need to be on their coaches to beat them. Not The Crimson Tide or Tigers fault they do what it takes. It’s every team in The Big Ten, Big 12, and PAC along with the rest of the programs in The ACC and SEC fault.

No reason for college football to change the playoff process so other teams can compete.

Yup variety is the spice of life...

I prefer a few more teams break through. Maybe the 1959 national champion?

...more like Risk than Monopoly. ESPN controls one continent (ACC) and enough of the others to prevent anyone else from getting them.

Well, there are a boat load of the participation trophy generation out there. They need to learn if you want it then earn it. Nothing is free and there are no guarantees of success. And I consider those minor lessons compared to something more serious, like actual combat, where finishing second gets you a Purple Heart for participation.

I agree with this. Tired of Clemson and Alabama ? Whip their ass.

Until then, quit complaining.

Those schools know how to win. That is the goal, isn't it?

History has taught us that when the frustration of the institutions that just can't seem to catch up rises to a certain level. Those institutions will use the NCAA to modify the rules to make it easier for their schools by putting restrictions on Clemson and Alabama (scholarship reduction/redshirt rules/staff, etc).

Well I'm already on record in favor of reducing the scholarships/roster down to 65 players anyway (for more parity, and to save costs), so if that happens, I'm fine with it.

Yes, we hate B1G. Athletes won games for SEC. Politicians won games for B1G. They always want to take more than they deserve because they have the most powerful alumni.
