There will be no battle of undefeated teams Tuesday night at the Convo, BGSU stuns CMU. Bowling Green and NIU are turning into some stories early

MD just enjoy the Huskies. Don't worry yourself over other MAC teams. Just admit your "little computer predictor" is useless. Just chill, sit back and enjoy NIU athletics. I am old but you will have a stroke/heart attack before I head to the nursing home.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its actually done a great job this year, Im encouraged by it! It flagged CMU as a potential top 4 seed when they were preseason picked last by media. It also is not nearly as high on Akron as some other ranking systems which is turning out to be spot on. Akron just does not have the offensive efficiency to be a contender. There is some great great basketball being played in the MAC this year, you just have to sit back and take it all in. We wont see a year like this in a long time in this conference.

NIU's KenPom ranking after today 110, who would have thought that?!

It was a fun game. Huskies came out slow, but Monty lit a fire under the team at halftime, and they came out firing. Don't know how big the crowd was, maybe a little more people than usual, but not too many more. Was great to see the attendees get into it. I think students are not not on campus yet, not sure. But can only imagine the energy in the Convo with a winning team and a bigger crowd. Go Huskies!

Exciting time to be an NIU basketball fan. Monty pushing all the right buttons.

If this was a non-Buffalo dynasty year, this team would have a real chance at the NCAA Tournament.

It has taken 7 years to go from 340 to 120. The Buffalo game better be SRO. See you all in a couple weeks, hoping the weather stays good for the 2 hour drive on a good day.
Still some great ticket on Ticketmaster for $10 plus fees.

RE: mbb vs Akron Zips
All of a sudden Huskie seed ceiling shoots up to 2!

Students are back for the Buffalo game right? That game probably not winnable even at home, but if Huskies beat CMU and get a road win at Kent, no problem dropping Buffalo and @Akron. My personal target is for NIU to be 5-2 in conference headed into the 3-game home stand vs Ohio/Toledo/Ball State. Was that last year I am remembering just a horrible showing vs CMU in DeKalb. If I remember it was one of the ugliest games of the year. Hope they can turn that around this time.

We beat Buffalo at home last year! That was Monty’s signature win that triggered another year.

That's true but Buffalo is playing at another level from last year. It's possible but NIU would have to be near flawless and Buffalo would have to be off
